it is but you can use it with a knuckler or unarmed

Very nice so far, too bad that elmental damage is only working in the combat chat, but real damage is still kinetic/energy only.

Damn... I am really bummed we didn't get the animation for Unarmed Hit 3 back... but Fencer and Swordsman got it?? (or am I somehow reading this wrong?) Pffft!

Yup, Power Attack has the old UA3 animation, so if you want it you gotta go swordsman.


And I can confirm that Improved Lunge no longer KD's.... Which really sucks. Gonna make my pulling method harder since I'd pull with a droid, KD with Lunge when in range, then slap a taunt on the mob while it was down to insure thatit'd go after me and nobody else... Bummer...

I just wanted to say that on Intrepid when I use advanced combo attack I get the old animation for UA3, I know what it looks like I've been TKM since retail release. UA2 was a spin move but had no kicks in it, UA3 was the same only with 2 spin kicks added one high one low. The ribbons are white now but thats fine with me. I do really wish they'd fix the combat spam for Advanced combo attacks damage though.

Awesome!! Well if that is true I'm stoked! (Been at work all day so I still can't see any of this for myself.) One question I've had is this: I've heard people here talking a lot about how our defenses/damage has been tweaked (for the better)... only nothing of this sort was mentioned IN the publish notes. Wouldn't things of that sort be listed forefront in the publish notes if they had been in there? Or were these changes JUST on test? Can anyone confirm ifdef/dmg changesare live now?

Just played with my TKM and I have to admit, I am not all that impressed with the new animations. For instance, Impale is like a single fast forward punch. Wow.

All they did was bring back old animations and re-apply them to different attacks. While it is definately prettier and less boring now, it's definatley nothing new to get excited about as they lead us on to beleive.

combo attack does NOT do the unarmedhit3 animation (at least not for me). it does the same old combo attack i think.

Its Combo2from pre-cu just as i mentioned in my list.
