I vote for Ryutek.
I think any of the candidates would make excellent Correspondants, but he seems to be able to see all of the sides of an argument and be able to relay all of the information in a way that is easily understood. To me that is probably the most important trait for a Correspondant to have.

I personally think its very bad that few people voted. Now we only have a fraction of people in the TKA forum posting their ideas. In the end the Devs will pick who they feel is best suited for the job. The only thing this vote does is give the devs a rough idea of who the community leaders are in this forum. Theyre free to read the posts here and all that jazz. I dont blame them for not saying theres a position opening for both rifleman and TKA's. Theyre busy working on a lot of things, pub 10, JTL, Combat Revamp, GCW revamp, and their recent move to Texas. The only thing we can do is keep the community focused and oriented in common directions until a correspondent can pick up where we left off.

Instead of submitting just the two names why not submit everyones name that was on the list to be voted for and how many votes they recieved? The devs will surely see the top two people we support as well as a list of everyone who wants the job. Just trying to be fair to everyone...

Thanks for whoever voted for me...(I never counted just saw who voted and saw my name a couple times)
...but I've decided to withdraw my name from competition for the spot, for the part of beginning to realize I would not be able to represent the Teras Kasi community well enough. I still enjoy SWG a little, but have grown displeased with the game itself lately.
These past few publishes have done little for those of us not interested in taking part of the Jedi Slaughter of us regular overts trying to maintain what little PvP remains. The combat balance has been delayed, again, the TKA initial Top Issues has never received major attention, things get nerfed instead of balanced...and it is very troubling to me when there are so many very visible and game-breaking issues, that aren't being tackled.
...and I find I doubt SWG more than I enjoy it. I still play it, although not as much as before -- I'm just bored with it.
I don't feel anymore that I'd be a good correspondent, or able to truly represent what the Teras Kasi community needs, because I myself find it hard to enjoy the game anymore. The people here deserve a better representative than that, someone better than me.
Every month I stare at my bank statement, and see the $14.99 a month, and now I also find myself wondering why it is even there. I also understand I'm just one person, you're an entire community, who deserve better than that.
I wish the best for whoever gets it, and thanks for everyone for their support (and the flames to, I learned a lot about everyone, and of myself here) I'll also wish TKA the best, and by wishing that, I have to admit I would not be the proper leader for it. I'll do my best to still help from behind the scenes, but would not be the good enough voice for the TKA community.
Good Luck, and Godspeed to whomever gets the final vote, and final position. Represent everyone well.
(ps. I don't mean to sound hostile to any developers, or designers here, I see the game direction they want, and that direction is not for me)

The nominees are:
Votes Name
2 Atama
11 Ryutek
5 Spuzzed
14 OnlyMaestro
1 AuleyDavyds
1 DragoMusevni
1 LordMaxx
1 3D4D
By my count the winner is OnlyMaestro. However since OnlyMaestro withdrew his name from the contest Ryutek who was only 4 votes behind wins the voting. With Spuzzed taking the second place.
I must say I'm really disapointed in the number of people who chose to participate. I understand a certain amount of apathy with the game these days. I even share it. But what does it cost to at least try???
Personally I like the idea of submitting this list in total to Thunderheart and asking him to appoint a correspondent from the list.
Could some of you please double check my counts. I made the assumption that each candidate voted for themselves even if I did not see that vote. Other than that I did my best to count all votes fairly.

Here was my vote count (I did not automatically count people as having voted for themselves, however):
Atama 1
Ryutek 12
Spuzzed 5
OnlyMaestro 14
AuleyDavyds 0
DragoMuseuni 0
LordMaxx 0
3D4D 1
I like that idea of submitting it all to the devs as well. I'm going to write up a note to accompany it (will post that here for community [small as it seems to be] input) and then see if one of the other correspondents would be so kind as to forward it along.
Again, this was all informal and not at all controlled (that is, I recognize very few people amongst those who voted, so have no idea if they're even TKs or what--I'm sure it's the same for all of you, so as a true vote, this was not particularly meaningful. It's real purpose, though, is simply trying to take some intiative in getting the Devs to make a move, preferably on one of the above fine people). Those who received no votes or few votes, remember to submit your name officially. After all, they picked someone none of us knew last time, and they most definitely could do much worse than choose anyone on this list.
OnlyMaestro I'm sorry you decided to step down at the end, but I can understand your feelings, and I appreciate your honesty in admitting your own to yourself and to the community.
I'll post the accompanying note soonish (I hope).

I hate to see you withdraw Maestro, your desire to aid the Community has been quite evident in your posts.

I've played with Spuzzed on many occasions, he has an impecable sense on what a balanced TKM should be, and is quite knowledgeable on the profession as he's had TKM for as long as I can remember. He gets my vote if its not too late.
