Cheers for that information Galbatorix I'll do some tests & tomorow & see what I find.
I have a feeling it might be related to Unarmed Deffence, I believe this has an effect on the damage taken now, so this could be where it is coming from, but yeah in the morning (it's late here, not far off midnnight) I'll grab a guildy of mine & get him to hit me round the head a bit & see what I find.

I know you said you'd get back with the devs regarding the ubese shirts and mabari belts but I was wondering if this included ubese bandoliers? Are they clothing or armor? The reason I ask is that I saw I could drop a clothing attachment onto one and really hope it's considered clothing as that option is available.

I really don't know at this point.
When my server is done my plan is to log on, grab a guild mate & have him hit me loads while I put differnt things on, endor helms, ace helms, ubese shirts, etc etc.

Thank you Mankind and all the others that have been testing the best profession (at least pre-CU) in game. The inforamtion is great. I still have my worries as to what will happen to us once the CU goes live. I hope that i can keep my current template TKM/Master Doc and still be effective. I am a bit hesistant to say that i am looking forward to what i consider to be a complete remapping of the game we have all come to love....but i am willing to give this a chance and see what comes of it.

Hi, i havent been able to get on SWG for... sevral months due to upgrading to Windows XP from ME. SO im going to be out of the picture untill mid may when i get a new computer. BUT i want to be up to date with everything. Im currently at TKM commando 2/0/2/0 brawler 4/0/2/0 and uhh.. a few others. SO i know i should eb able to use assult armor, but what confuses me is the TIA. Is it like an actual robe like clothing, or is it just what ever you wear (execpt armor) giving you that protection? Thanks

TIA works as long as ur NOT wearin any armor!!! Be carefull i think there are a few kind of clothing out there that is considered armor but not sure, but pretty much u can wear watever clothing u want. Even a PSG does not stop TIA!!! so of course i decided to go get a new set of clothes and fight with a lil of my own taste rather than the same boring composite armor.

I hear we are getting new weapons? What are they?
They are the Blaster Fist which is a x-x-3-x Weapon that does energy damage (with a heat element). Also in the Master box we have the long awaited Black Sun Razor Knuckler. Also Novice Commandos have the cert of a Massassi Knuckler, though this is very similar to a VK i terms of stats.
Im 0-2-1-2 and I can use a Blaster Fist. For mine you have to be lvl 50 I think.

Any chance of an update to this to remove the now obsolete info on Test Center? Also would be useful to add some of the answers on TIA and weapons, etc.

I posted this in another thread also - but was wondering. I believe they posted about the CU that armor with TKA would take away the TKA mitigation and having a weapon from say Commando would keep the TKA defense, but I find this to be rong. If I equip a powerhammer I lose defense so am now wondering - which is TIA in tune with - armor or weapons?

I'm not sure if you found your answer to your question, but the TIA (teras kasi innate armor) is removed when you put on any piece of armor. You are allowed to equip any kind of weapon and it will still work, except i think atm that when u equip any weapon that is not considered an unarmed weapon you lose the mod called unarmed defense and is replaced by watever type of defense that that weapon skill type tree would giv you....hence my finding that when i equip a power hammer (or any other weapon for that matter) my dmg mitigation is reduced somewhat. The TIA is still working with that particular weapon equiped...it only quits workin when you equip armor.
