leave me out of this, i said i wasn't picking sides. im just observing some tention that other people have been having.

only thing that gripes me about your posts and there is just one thing.

1) your i quit post. related to all the TK posts you posted, and fixs and this and that, then i find your not even a master TK, and your quiting.

i dont mean any ill will but ya lost a little crediability from me when i learned you were not master. not because im elitiest, but cause you didnt experience master, and made judgements about the class w/o having all the facts. thats all i have in terms of grips

for the most part your posts are very helpfull though to alot of people.

and about the creditability thing...just hit master and all is forgiven! =P

Chill out man, quit throwing around the harrassment reports. All they were saying was that if people wanted to know about those waypoints then they would have gone to the corresponding board. I appreciate the work but not everyone does, not every person in the world will like you or what you do. If you dont like them or what they have to say then ignore them.

To further back up my case, I thought I'd directly reference the rule that you are breaking by posting travel directions on the profession forum. To further drive home my point, I've colored the most applicable clauses in red.

I have to agree this thread needs to be put in its proper place. I linked over here from the marksman forum and what did I find nothing/Garbage info that I already new and I just started playing three days ago. I really think that this thread had a more appropriate forum to be posted in. As to how accurate the swg centers coordinates are I prefer not to run right into the middle of a tusken party. since this is my first post I liked to say I've read a lot of the forums and I've read alot of what everyone posts and about 90% is not useful. I see a lot of whining and complaining. However, I think the ten percent that is useful really rocks. Unfortunately Xeonus, this post does not fall in to that minority. I'm not a TKA but oneday I might be and it would be helpful if the boards weren't cluttered with so much useless posting.

And you were saying? Does this not sound self-righteous to you? And then on top of that self-righteous with an insult thrown in on top of it. I probably wouldn't have even started posting if it weren't for this comment. Sure, later he replied to this fellow and appologized for calling him a jerk, and that was big of him... sort of.

However, this self-righteous attitude is why I posted in the first place. Maybe all of you out there appreciate his posting waypoints to points of interest on every single combat forum. Okay, I can accept that; I am not even violently against it. I would suggest that he post these elsewhere, but so-be-it. If the community as a whole wants these posts, who am I to stand against it? The issue isn't so much the content, but the attitude of the poster.

Xeonus' posts have had a habit of starting some pretty heated discussions, and usually this is because his rebuttles to people who disagree with the content or his presentation tend to be one-liners saying something like "you jerk." The discussions get so heated, that if you read his threads, many of them end with Xeonus posting: "that's it, I am not posting in this topic anymore' (to paraphrase).

I don't doubt that Xeonus wants to help TKA and maybe even the whole melee community. But somehow his ideas and opinions come across time and time again as self-serving. Maybe this is unintentional, maybe he doesn't even realize he is doing it, but when it happens and all the while he is claiming to be 'helping us' and 'we should appreciate him' people get agitated.

If we could stick to the facts, the bugs with our profession, ways of getting around them, creating prioritized lists for the developers to fix, and in general create a more organized discussion of the TKA profession, we might see some more rapid improvement. Getting angry at the developers is not going to help us. Getting angry at each other and hurling insults is not going to help us. Someone feeling that they know ALL the answers to fixing TKA is not going to help us either.

In response to the SPAM hate (I didn't read through all 3 pages yet, just knee-jerk here)... I don't visit any other boards on a regular basis like i do this forum. I don't bother digging through the swgcenter info, this info is something I wouldn't have seen otherwise, and I appreciate the poster putting it here. Its not like he is spamming the same thing over and over on this particular forum, he isn't bashing anyone, and he isn't posting useless and/or false information. Just remember what momma said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." You are a troll for posting solely to flame him for posting the info. Go away.

And thanks Xeonus, fun locs, will have to get some power under my belt so I can explore them all.
