and here i was thinking I was the only one. I can still kill all the stuff im supposed to, make my contribution to the group, and generally have fun playing. However I made master balance before the nerf. Gone are the days of the 500k nights, and single handedly pinning 4 red con baz nitches. Thats how much I made the night before the nerf I am now only 700k from making master.

Although now I can single handedly level a novice medic to master doctor in a period of a week or so. I can use the HAM as fast as they fill it back up(faster than a novice medic though). If they didnt have to stop to craft, man that would be sweet. Im still waiting on those advanced low cost knucklers on my server. Dont know about the rest of you.

Adapt or give up. Maybe I was playing the "right" way. I choose adapt.

Basically, it depends how you want to look at it. You can say that "We're still viable blah blah blah" and whatever you want to say, but it's all relative.


As a Teras Kasi Master I can lay the pwnage on kreetles. Does that make me a viable character? Simply put, not really. It's been brought up time and time again that an MMORPG is just that, multiplayer. And the fact of the matter is that TKA's really have almost no role in the scale of MULTIPLE players.


I can kill a baz nitch. A pistoleer can kill 5 baz nitch and do it all 3 times faster.
I can kill a Nym. A BH can physically eat a Nym alive(I saw it once and it was rather disgusting).


See my point? In a multiplayer game, when it's strength and power that's being sought, it's all relative. We don't have a role in the game anymore that isn't superceded by another profession(namely pistoleer).


Off the above topic, I am now selling medical supplies on Starsider. Feel free to send a /tell to Taeroth.
My prices are pretty fair(about 500 a stim) and I'll try and get to your order as fast as I can, though broken factories make it a tad hard.




Please nerf TKA's! I just one hit incap'd myself again with knockdown!

LMAO. At least with the down time I've had time to work on faction points and decorate my house. Went a little overboard with all the Jax pets with silly names. And Ashla I have a reduced HAM knuckler if you want to play with it. I still need to get it sliced though.

By slicing I meant experimenting although supposedly slicing the HAM away doesn't work for smugglers either; and on top of that, the advanced vibro cores can't be manufactured

I've found that I'm good a powerleveling. If ya got a friend who needs marksman xp and or scouting xp go get a couple missions for Mountain Worrts. Knockdown, peace an you quit attackin. Let them just wear it out. Then they can skin it. they get good combat xp an scout xp.


Kinda boring but nice to help friends out.

The slicing of HAM does NOT work very well. Weaponsmiths can get rid of the HAM costs on the sub components but not on the end item. So its not that big of a reduction and you lose the speed and damage experimentation, so you end up with a slow, low damage knuckler with maybe 30 less HAM (about 10 to each bar). Guildie was just messing around with experimentation and gave me the knuckler to play with.

I am helping my friend get Master medic. It's SO easy! I just /duel my friend, hit KD once and I'm almost dead, then he heals me up with a couple Stims. It's better than healing Dancers because you get all the xp for healing action AND health, and since KD rarely works and doesn't do much damage, I can do it several times before he has to even THINK about healing himself! I love it!

A tip to get tons of medical exp is get a pet(Just whatever you can find with alot of HAM) and let people beat it up(lots of people like to show off). Then heal the pet. I haven't tested pet stims, but I'm assuming they work even better. (Pets have alot of health, can lose it quickly, and it doesn't incur downtime on anyone and you don't have to worry about slaying them)


As far as experimenting knuckles down, I heard it's something in the area of like 10 points for 1 HAM. But, after that update that Raph made... yeah... that's hot baby.


KD is still borked, but it gives us another defensive option. That being, an OBSCENE offense
