I can't believe noone is telling you guys to got to Dantooine. Get buffed first. This is very improtant. Some Doctor's will do it for free and most will do it for around 5k. Got to Dantooine, get in a hunting group, and try to do mostly creature missions. I went from UnArmed IV to Novice TKA in about 4 hours of game time. I was able to grind out the last 65k xp last night in just under 2 hours. Also make sure you get a good VK and get it sliced. It doesn't matter if you're not certified to use it. It'll increase your attack speed , which is all that will matter.

I have been working towards Teras Kasi Novice and I read through the posts on this thread before doing so. I tried many of the suggestions and here is what I found. The first this is that you have to get buffed and you have to get Vibro Knuckles to increase your attack speed. The ideas people have given about using bleeds or combat medics are good ideas if this is available to you. If you can do pistoleer/fencer health bleeds combined with some combat medic health poison, you can just flick over creatures and take the full XP for them. But as pointed out, this is not available to everyone.

I had it available to me up to Unarmed 4 from a pistoleer/fencer friend. After this, since I am a pistoleer, I tried doing the pistoleer bleeds and circling the lair with a speeder bike. This proved to just be frustrating as you will warp getting off your speeder and eventually the pikets will catch up to you. It's not worth your time unless you are going to bleed like 3 at once and when they catch you, it sucks. And they will and dizzy you.

After this, I went out with a new Commando on some Piket hunts. The 2 of us were able to kill the Pikets very quickly with the flamethrower and I was getting 500-1200 XP per piket. We didn't work together long, but I did get some good XP for the time. Way better than the bleed/speeder method.

Tonight I was about 75K away from Teras Kasi Novice and I wanted to get it done before maintenance. I got buffed and went to Dantooine. I had discovered that the 12K Piket Longhorn missions spawn almost all female Pikets and they are non-social, so you can take them one at a time without worrying about others joining in. I started out using my pets to help me. I used to be Master CH so I can still use a Delirious Merek Avenger. I would attack with it, hit the two bleeds with the pistols and then pull my VKs and attack at 5m while spamming the stay command to my pet. This was pretty effective but my pet would inevitably attack some and take away some of my XP. I was only getting 1500-2200 XP per Piket. The max on these things is around 3500 XP at Unarmed IV.

After awhile I started using a new startegy that will work well and does not require high level creatures of a CM. I had picked up some 70% Kinetic Ubese Armor, some Muon Gold, and some Fishnak (Chef Food). I would equip my armor, use a Muon, Hit the bleeds on one Female Piket Longhorn, stun attack, blind attack, and then continuous spam of unarmed hit 1. The Muon would keep my mind regenerating at a good pace. I was not taking much damage at all, only thing hitting my pools was special attack costs. The Muon last for 10 minutes. When the Muon downer hit, I would start using the Fishnak. I never had to stop to rest. Doing this I was able to maintain my pools throughout the night. I usually only had to use 1, maybe 2 Fishnaks during the Muon downers. I got to Teras Kasi Novice tonight 5 minutes before the server went down for maintenance. Getting to Novice Pistoleer is not that hard and I would really advise people to get it the bleeds help immensly. I'm not sure how I would have done anything without the bleeds. I hear the XP is all downhill from here. I hope the people telling me that are right.

Oh, forgot to mention, I started grinding at about 3:30 central time so I got the 75K XP in about 2 and a half hours.

Ok, here is my advice for you on getting to Unarmed 3. Do Diseased Bobcat Missions on Tatooine out of a player city or Dire Cat missions out of a player city on Corellia. You should be able to get Vibro Knuckles for like 5 or 6K that are fairly decent. And then get a good slice for 3K. Another thing that could help is going to Dantooine and getting with a group to run missions there. Most groups will let you tag along even if you aren't that skilled. Just attack what someone's pet is already attacking and stay farther away from the creature/npc than the pet. You can hit regular punches from 5m and specials at 10m. Lunges will let you hit from 20m. You can get some fast cash this way too. Getting buffed does cost some cash, usually 6K for a good buff of all stats, but you should be able to easily find someone doing it in Coronet. I can't imagine a server where there aren't docs buffing outside the starport in coronet. I hope this helps.
