Thread: Where to get nice TKA exp.
I'm going to say rancors or ft tusken are both great ways to get the xp quickly. But don't expect 5.5K per rancor kill, that just doesn't happen, the most I've seen is 4300xp and I'm 1/2/4/3. Oh and I've hunted rancors the past two nights for about 2-3 hrs per night and I've gone up three (Power 4 one of them) skill boxes. If you think you are going to get to TKM in two days...we are talking full days of gaming. And of course, I would only do these two if you have a group of 3 or more...any less and you won't be able to pull the missions
For you soloist's out there, I would recommend buffing and going to Dant and pulling hurrton's and quenker lairs. Just have plenty of muon and some pet to group with and you'll do fine.
Ok, I'm a (former) Grenadeer/ TK 0133. I was taking out enraged rancors on dath by myself, not even using my flamer. of course, having expert striking techniques realllllly helps.I had 200k+ combat xp left over from commando that i used to go upthe striking tree right off the bat. :-) right now, i'm running giant baz nitch missions for about 4100 xp per kill, ungrouped. my opinion is that mutant baz's are easier to kill for slightly less xp per kill. so if i run across them, i love to play with 'em. and if you wanna just walk away from your computer for a bit and still get some unarmed xp - find a purbole lair on dath. hit the lair once and you better have your armor on and VK's equipped. I don't think it was a fluke, but last night I did this and, not even joking, about 20+ pruboles spawned sequentially. about 1300xp per kill...so i just let auto-attack do the magic for me. It was a sight to see...i should've taken a screenie...the ground was literally littered with the corpses of 20 or so purboles. :-) So i'm just gonna continue with my giant baz missions, and eventually i'll hit TKM...i'm in no rush...and it's the most fun i've had going up any skill tree. :-)

Endor, crazzed Gurreck missions
Get buffed 1st anddouble up on missions. Don't bother cloning or insuring they dont death blow. With a good 2 hour+ Buff you can get 200k XP
Question is solo at 0110 in TKA can I pull those crazed gurreck missions on the terminals?
My current order of important for my classes (TKA/BE):
Finish Tissue 2 and start craftin gScent Camoflague tissues to churn up the Technique tree and maybe a little from the creature tree so I end up at least 1/2/1/2
Finish Survival 4 and pick up teh last AP pts I need to train Master Scout.
Go on a killing spree with another TKA/BE friend and maybe another friend or 2. last night we did a 6 preson group that looked like this:
2 Novice TKA/BE
1 Fencer (mid level)
1 TKM who was working on his 2H Sword for the evening
1 Novice Pikeman (just trained)
1 Brawler finishing up Unarmed 4 to go Commando.
Not a shot fired and we were all getting about 2800c each mission and I usually got about 1200-2kXP per creature we killed. Not to mention all the harvesting, which everyone was giving to us BEs. An all melee group was a lot of fun to organize but even more fun to actually group with.
If yr on Valcyn and want to do this some night by al means leave me mail as I'm always up for some hunting like we did last night on Dantooine.
Astu (Krayt City, tatooine, Valcyn)
I just timed it last night. I did7 giant baz nitch missions (dathomir) in about 2 hours. I was buffed, and using muon. Over those 2 hours, 200k xp. Done and done. And each mission pays out over11k credits. A very nice living to be made there. Finally made Teras Kasi Expert last night.
So now I'm 0143 in the TK tree...I think I'm gonna go up the balance tree now to get that KD2. Any suggestions? Balance or Meditate?
And I LOVE the TK tree. I've been looking for a home profession since day 1 of release (well, day 2 for those of us that were actually there). I've done Marksman, Pistoleer, Smuggler, Commando, Creature Handler, Medic, Scout, Artisan, Novice Chef...none of them ever kept my interest. That is, until I came across a TKM and saw him in action...that was enough to make me try it out. And I've loved this profession ever since. So now, I will be a TKM (because I love it)and Master HoloChef (because I have to, but it is actuallyfun).
I'll eventually open up that **edit** slot.....
