What GoodToTheTouch said.

I have noticed that if I spam unarmed hit 3, the bad guys start getting all manner of good state symbols from bleed to blind to whatever.

I have noticed occasionally while fighting something poisonus they they had somehow poisoned them themself. I will start paying attention to see if it is counterattack based (I know it is nothing I am doing), because that does make some sense.

This has been around since probaly release and been discussed before, what happens is sorta a random chance to bleed. But like previously stated its 1 point bleed per tic, not very valuable and nothing to get excited over.

True, but it makes your opponent nervous (if fighting PvP) so the "psyche" effect of it has value.

I have noticed that I have bled and even poisoned from time to time. I think it may be due to some sort of counterattack - there can be no other explanation for my strange ability to poison enemies that can poison me, but not those that can't. I think the same may be true for bleed - it might depend on whether you sucessfully counterattack an enemy's attempt to bleed you.

Interesting, he's the only one to have picked up on this...hrm...out of how many other posters that think they have a special power? haha...you people. It's all about counterattacks...you can even send disease, poison, and other stats back at them if you happen to counterattack the particular attack they used to add the state to you...just pay attention to your combat spam more. Bravo for swifty here...he's only one that got it.

I too have caused targets to bleed... quite a few times. Sometimes with unarmedhit2, sometimes with unarmedhit3, sometimes with body hit, sometimes with leg hit, and sometimes with head hit. Most commonly with unarmedhit3 because that's the move I use the most.

Guys... It is not a bleed, it is the mob who is doing a bleed to you and you counterattack. A lot of misinformed people here, no offense.

I bled a piket longhorn tonight.

While I'm leaning towards the counter-attack arguement, I never in my life saw a Piket Longhorn bleed me before (and I kill them in droves)

While poison and other stat ailements might be counter based, bleed might be a combo of that and wound %. I mean it makes sense, how can you hit someone with a friggin blade fist (vibros) and not cut them a little bit.

let's brew more air ...like several people already said : there is a random chance that every attack makes the target bleed whatever you use a VKora special move or not.
