well shouldn't the Darth maul book and Shadows be canon then

Cause books are canon(somewhat I think)

People who say that only what George Lucas himself writes is true canon are fools, the Lucas Arts and Lucas Film were created by him. He has given then complete authorisation to act on his behalf. To say that only what Lucas writes or makes himself is true is dismissing his authority to give others creative control over a licence he single handedly created. How can you accept that he says on the one hand but deny that he has the right to allow others to continue where he left off?

Yes but the books have to be approved by Lucas so there may not be any canon info on tka but tka is canon cause its in the EU books

I just love when CANON PURIST screams, that EU can not be canon, but when you tell a CANON purist that Coruscantwas EU first and BECAME canon... they lurk back intotheir shadows...

Canon is EU and EU is canon... Nuff said.. If Canon was just canon, then my friends Star wars would be a very boring saga...

Sorry Tka is Canon Accept it. That means every book that GL didn't write is not canon by your guys rules. Well.. There goes more then half the starwars Universe. kthnxbye

Ps: Teras kasi order is talked about in many starwars books and not just in a video game. when the game was made public that made it canon the story was arthorized and so on. if you guys keep going "The orginal starwars is the only starwars" you guys make me sick.

I still refuse to believe that the books are not a part of the official deal

why would he have them written then?

and why would they all have to go through him to make sure they fit into the whole story?

So I see the books as official

anyways some of those books are better then the damn movies

Canon, I hate the word especially towardsavideogame. This game will never be considered canon even if it only used aspects of the movies to flesh out its gameplay and enviroment . Why can't a non-canon games uses other non-canon sources to create a Star Wars enviroment?What person on this forum does not considerJK, JKA, DF1 and 2 and other PC and console a Star Wars game. You might not consider it canon but a Star Wars game it is and always will be. Who cares if any of the events in these games are not consideredasofficial historical eventsin the Star Wars timeline. Thegames, books and other source material help enrich what we know as the Star Wars Universe, even if they are not considered canon.
