This is what i usually wear PVPing and justmy regular look.I dont like to wear armor (tho i do wear it sometimes, when I'm out pvping or pveing alone) . It just takes the flavor out of being a Teras Kasi I think. I've gotten bunches of compliments on how I look. lol. People seam to like it.

I wear a low encumbrance set of padded armor (usuallywithout the helmet, but I do wear the helmet when on a swoop or a mount) as regular clothing. I think it is the most martial arts looking "clothing" in the game considering the assumed level of technology in the Star Wars universe. I really wish the devs would tweak padded armor encumbrance and stats to put it on par with high-end Ubese armor, as I think Ubese should be more attractive to Bounty Hunters instead of melee fighters. When I'm fighting I still wear high end Ubese or Composite armor, the rest of the time I'm in padded armor just for the looks.
but IRL you would probabally only wear gloves, boots, a helmet and a mouthguard

A skirt is pretty much the only way a male can simulate most robes. Take a hike, we don't need your posts here.

I, too, am too lazy to make a link to this. But if anyone is actually interested enough to see what I look like, then I guess they won't mind.

Yes. And they're mostly ginger. Not an appealing combination... ![]()

I'm firmly in agreement with you guys who refuse to wear a skirt. It doesn't simulate a robe at all, it looks like a dress! I know some of you want to look like a Shoalin monk, but their robes don't touch the ground and they wear pants with it. No martial art has a uniform with robe that touches the ground. Buddhist monks do, but they do not practice martial arts in that robe. Japanese sword arts wear a hakama which has a skirt-like appearance, but in reality they are baggy pants with a pleated front. I study karate and Japanese sword arts in real life, and I can tell you none of the skirts or robes in the game come close to achieving that look. Closest thing currently in the game to a gi is the wooly jacket.
I gave up on my padded armor thing last night as the delays in taking it on and off are just too frustrating to deal with for a visual effect. I did some clothes shopping and came up with a look I think befits a TKA very well:
Dress Uniform Jacket - (It looks alot like Samurai chest and shoulder armor)
Any long sleeve shirt
Black leather gloves (Ubese armor gloves look better, but armor delays suck when just wearing it for visual effect)
Mabari Armorweave belt
Casual Pants
Hide boots.
I will post a screenshot when I get home from work.

This isn't aimed at anyone specifically, just my thoughts...
I really couldn't care less what kind of monks or martial artists did or didn't wear robes, or whether or not the skirts in the game resemble the said robes. I like the way my character looks. Nobody else has to play it, just me. Therefore, if anyone wants to complain about it (especially in-game), its not really doing anything to help their cause. Unless they enjoy wasting their words. Or like being on my ignore list.
