bah it is not nearly as bad as that report tries to make it out to be. What is happening to remove knock downs? 20 shots to kill someone with armor?I didn't know everyone ran around in 75% composite, had 1000 mind and got dancer buffs... What is a pistoleer going to do? I can heal about 1k ham per second (i heal every 2 or 3 seconds about) and with buffs i have the large ham pools to take advantage of those heals. Also wearing 75% composite basically negates pretty much all of the pistoleers damage. 1100 pistoleer damage (random damage by the way) turns into: 1100 * 0.5 * 0.25 = 137.5. I also doubt pistoleers hit for max damage every shot...

TKA's own Melee, but you're not a Jedi so you're not gonna be deflecting blaster bolts with your barehands or dodging a well aimed super-sonic sniper shot.

if i may add another thing, many TK say that they should be like Jedi.. well act like jedi! They are the classical stoic hero, not whiners! I LOVE being a TKA, and i dont mind being kited (as much as it is a pain in the butt :smileyhappy. Would u rather be a pistoleer or a BH... I THINK NOT! so enjoy and make the most of whta you have. We are stoics, not whiners! If you dont know what stoic means, not that there is anything wrong with that, look it up! You will learn a lot! It changed my life! This is why i picked TK. Hopefully this made ur experience better, probly not, but oh well have fun!

Ok, maketka require master entertainer says you guys (tkas in general, not you dancnhomer)are always telling tales of how you own jedis in eu solo, with both hands and a leg tied behind your back and the other leg broken.

Did i mention... BH has the advantage of range... no matter what. TKA can never compare to BH, even if its just to show its eliteness in the melee world. It should not cost 2 other masteries... heck then id just get BH and have the 50 m bonus!

Sure its the best melee skill at the moment... but not worthy of costing tons more points. It does NOT have damage types except for kinetic, that is why its so good... you block kinetic, you smoke tka for the most part. Other melee'ers have at least a few types.

So you sacrifice t ypes of damage for accuracy (to a pool) and quickness.... BH is just plain good (or so it seems to me)

410 max damage unsliced scatter pistol (ap1) on sale in eclipse

with power up and good damage slice itll be 700 max damage

eyeshot with that thing in pvp= 500 average

any1 dead in 2 shots

wear 70% composite helm= ure dead in 7 shots

I hate the wear a helm bh attitude, y must i wear a helm when i dont even wear 1 vs a rifleman... armor uts damage i know so i can say this for any powerfull skill.. just wear armor u wont die in 2 hits ull die in 7 oh well (scarcastic )

lol i just saw a dood say that stopping shot can 1 shot kill someone rofl... i want his crack because my crack isnt that good

im a tka master/pistoleer novice/smuggler novice

i picked up the pistol tree to defend myself against kiters and i will say this one time.. im not far from pistol mastery but hehe stopping shot is far from a 1 shot kill lol all it does is stun you for 10 seconds with a nice hefty damage hit to a random ham

lol how the heck can you compare that to a scatter pistol with a power up that does 700 damage and eye shot or lol with your stopping shot because as a BH im sure oyu picked up some pistol skills lmao

dood this is TKA forum go back to your BH forum and whine about pistoleers there

and while you are at it think about all the specials that you have that WORK then think about the specials that pistoleers have that dont

Man fencer is looking good nearly 70 ranged defence wow, plus they hit the body

In my oppinion, the upcoming changes to TK are finally making melee classes what they were always supposed to be, tanks, instead of everyone running around with graul maulers as tanks.

this will make the game much more interesting imo, and TK should not be nerfed, but instead the other melee classes should be brought up to par with TK.

Intimidate and it's you're dead in 14 shots. warcry him and you get 10 seconds where he isn't spamming. We've got tools. Use them.
