Atone - have you realized yet that people that do pick up a ranged and melee profession don't give a rats ass about your respect. Actually since your so against it, they might be doing it just to piss you off.
May I ask why you are not protesting the 20m and 10m ranges? If you are that serious about melee shouldn't it be at most 1 or 2 meters. Server lag doesn't matter or at least shouldn't for people that think melee should be so pure. If you can't use a pistol to get rid of a game flaw then you can't increase the natural range for a game flaw as well.
No one kites me. I guess you are just bitter that you will never be as good as me.

Well atone atm i am TKM and master pistoleer, i was going to drop pistoleer too in favor of going master swordsman but then something changed that plan.I could of lived without having ranged attack for PvP altho it would made things a bit more difficult, but after they put in mitigation their is no way i would go double master in two mellee proffs.Why you may ask?Because by having both a ranged and mellee proffesion i get damage mitigation to both!Thats too good of a deal to pass up.
So although i may still ditch pistoleer, if i do so it will be for either carbineer or rifleman.Truthfully i think their having 2 types of mitigation is silly and would much prefer if their was only one type that was shared by all, now if they ever changed it to that, then i would dump my ranged proff for swordsman in aheartbeat.
But to adress your anti-ranged stance Atone, everyone pays their same $15 buck a month and gets the same 250 SP to spend and they can do so however they darn well feel.And buddy if you hate ranged that badly then why the heck did you even bother picking up SWG?Didn't the fact that all combat is ranged in the SW flicks tip you off as to what to exect?( well all combat that doesnt involve a jedi at least )

Melee- A) (the one you are thinking of) Confused, hand-to -hand fighting in a pitched battle.
B) (the one I am thinking of) A violent free-for-all. See Synonyms- brawl
Free-for-all doesn't mean free-for-all EXCEPT for this or that...
I am thinking that some NPC or Player really PWNED you with a blaster for you to come in here ranting.
