in shadows of the empire guri and xizor are both tka...

No they are not!

Examples of TKA: Pike sisters,Darth Maul, and a Jedi Twileck master mentioned in shadowhunter.

Ii guess TKA can or are JEdi watchers after all. That is if you consider that Darth Maul kept a close eye on them to kill them.................Oh but then again that might be because he is sith.

Bleh we're fine power-wise. Changing that tips the PvP scales.

If you're going to going to change TKA so we're a match for jedi but not anymore powerful than the gunslingers its really quite simple.

Teras Kasi Master = +75 Force Toughness

Jedi's force attacks do much less damage. But the normal PvP won't be changed in the slightest as the only changed factor is a resistance to force energy. And since you can't even reach Teras Kasi Novice with Master Bounty Hunter you don't have to worry about dabblers being able to hunt down Jedi for money AND have force resistance.

The TRUE story of the Teras Kasi is that a billion years ago a fat dude was chillin on his couch, and he was like, "hmm i want a beer", but he was too lazy to get up, so instead he learned to channel his energies and made it so he could force himself off the couch to get that beer out of the fridge. But, it turns out the fridge was stuck, so he knocked it over and it burst open. He then drank his beer with zest.

That's the TRUE story about how the TKA discovered meditation, powerboost, and knockdown.

I swear!!!!!

You know that even your own correspondent posted to a subject like this once stating that the Jedi/TKA story is nothing more than fan backstory. Lucas didn't make it, hence, it doesn't exist here, nor will it ever exist.

If you dont believe that I'm sure I can find the link in about 2 minutes hah

This is not a prompt for more or less power to TKA's just a cool theory. I think that when the Jedi came to wherever the TKA's lived at first, an upheaval arose. Some of the Teras Kasi (don't know how to do umlauts on a PC, I do most of my word proccesing on a MAC.) thought they should embrace the new way, some thought that they should destroy the jedi, and some thought they should co-exist but not change their ways. In the end, the jedi and "beleviers" as I shall call them fought the sith (this was during the sith war) and the "rejecters". The "purists" escaped in a starship and practiced their art elsewhere. A Millania later, the Teras Kasi "purists" had forgotten about the sith and the jedi were not remembered as the invaders of ledgend. When the Emporer took hold of the galaxy, he began search for hidden sith lore. He came accross a record of the ancient sith wars and re-discovered the Teras Kasi. Some of the Teras Kasi embraced the Empire and helped hunt down the jedi. Some remembered the peace of the Old Republic and helped to protect the jedi. Some stayed put on their little world. So basicly, history repeated itself (hey, blame bad achives ). And that brings us to now, the Teras Kasi spread over the Galactic Civil War, Master fighting Master, the Teras Kasi turned against one another... It is a sad time we live in...

Oops! Sliping into Roleplaying mode. Heh heh.

I really like the idea of us being the protectors of the Jedi. I personally kill bounty hunters easily. Bounty hunters are supposed to be a big threat to the Jedi. I would love it if we were given a role in protecting the Jedi in the game. This would make much more sense and would not have to tip the PVP scales. Everyone would be focused more on killing the Jedi. They would not be expecting the TKM's sneaking up on them from behind. They also could become a factor in assisting their Jedi against another Jedi. Sure this is all fantasy. Who cares.

The professions of this game are like 32 spice fiends in the same room with a few fences. Everyone is screaming for their their fix. If you try to give everyone a little bump at the same time, nobody will be satisfied and the screaming will never end. If you single out each one really hook them up , you will slowly end the screaming. I know my turn is coming, but it still does not ease the pain of realizing I am nobody's favorite ho. Yeah since TKA's are suppose to be able to since changes in the force...lets say that a Jedi uses his powers too much and a bounty is placed on him TKA's can get some kind or terminal or message saying "you feel a disturbance" and you can go check the terminal and the BH is now flagged too you or somthing of the sort. Maybe even you get a WP to the jedi so you can protect him, but it doesnt allow you too see his name. *shrugs* Sounds kind of cool, but i know people are going to flame me so w/e.

This sounds like a cool idea, but a system mesage like that would turn into World War III : Battle of the Teras Kasi. *snickers* (is that the slight chuckle or the candy? *chuckle*) I mean, half the people would come to kill the jedi, the other half to defend him. And when they all got there, he'd be gone, and they'd kick the stuffing out of each other for no reason what-so-ever. Though it would be a good way for Teras Kasi to get to know one another

Use the Force bubba! lol.

Yeah the profession is fine. If it wasn't a fan story it'd be a cool thing to implement. But if we start implemented fan stuff we'll have 4000 BH's in mandalorian armor and every gunfighter in a red trench and blond hair named Vash.
