Same thing happened to me to. It kinda sucked. Like you said all bars down to nothing. IT was actually kinda funny. I got knocked right off.

I think it is both, your toughenss helps but I guess Tuskens suck at melee and are great at ranged.

observers with they rifle are, like speedcapped rifflemans with expetionals rifles,
i once got killed by 1 shot of them, they arent worth killing cause they dont drop good loot, best i got of them was a tapestry schematic
but once they go to melee they are like 3 years old child with a plastic sword,

You were right, their rifles have allt he bite. Like a riflemen, distance is where all their power is. If I ever want to take one out, I always sneak up on it first then let the good times role.

His opening volly is just nasty - pretty much instant incap if your not buffed (then you pray your speeder carried you limp body far enough his DB won't find you). I remember a few unfortunate encounters when I first started playing the game - Going to have to look him up for some payback one of these days.
