Teras Kasi is not about hunting Jedi. Teras Kasi was an order that kept the Jedi from becoming too powerful. When the Jedi abused their power, the Teras Kasi would step in to bring the balence of power back. If any Teras Kasi Artists should be able to hunt Jedi it would have to be Teras Kasi Masters and only Jedi that are abusing their powers in some way, I'm not sure how that would be dertermined but something along those lines.

Ok, if you want a background on the TKA's, then you need to look at that game they made a while back. Something about Teras Kasi. I can't remember the name. Anyway, it gives a good background of TK in the prologues.

Well, if in truth TKA hunted jedi to keep equilibrium.... why do we need to be paid?.... wouldnt maintaining the force equilibrium be enough reward?

I believe the game you are thinking of is "Masters of Teras Kasi"

It was game released for the first playstation. I don't recall any of the plots to it and can't look them up (I am at work), but If I remember correct, they hadquite a bit ofinfo on TKA's...

Both a martial art and an Order. The Teräs Käsi were formed from the remnant civilians of a long-ago battle which devestated their home world of Palawa, a war which involved the awsome powers of the Jedi Council. The few survivors of Palawa migrated to a nearby world called Bunduki, where they decided to master mind over body so they may keep the Jedi use of power in check. The Teräs Käsi are thought to be sensitive to changes in the Force, and Teräs Käsi Masters are feared by the Jedi. But Teräs Käsi are not generally Force users as Jedi are: Teräs Käsi draw internal, personal power, while Jedi draw from everything around them.

All I want is a some sort of message when I am within 500m radius of a Jedi. Dont want a pinpoint accuracy, just a hunch that theres someone close by.

And Blacksky is right about the history of TK, but I don't agree with his philosophy. In SWG, TKA's are not one big family. We are a bunch of separate people who do our own thing. Saying that we shouldn't attack Jedi unless they abuse their power is the moral thing to do. That much is true. How many people are going to follow the right way? Better question...How many TKA's are Imperial? We do not have the significance that we used to. Imperial TKA's might hunt Jedi down in support of the Emperor. We might fight alongside Jedi in response. This is the way of the Galaxy. The past is over.
