Report what? what's to report?

You may want to ask yourself is if the TKA in question has skills from other combat professions, which may enable him/her to solo higher end mobs.

Report..bleh..sounds like a half ass threat.

lol Framahr, walking in here with yer chest all puffed out. blah.

I didn't realize this post would get so hot so I haven't checked it since last night. Anywho, we all need to ge the facts straight. It was ONE juvi and TWO(sorry I didn''t know what to call them) Canyon Krayts and he did it in UNDER 20 minutes.

I don't give a damn how bad you are with whatever buffs and dbl sliced comp armor and other proffesions, it's an exploit. And those of you defending him saying "o yeah, all the time, I am uber TKM", know the exploit too.

Half of you are saying can't be done, the other half are saying, hell yeah daily, you figure it out.

Ok here's the deal, a TKM if they know what they are doing can TANK 3 krayts at the same time, I've done it, but using only TKA skills to deal damage, he cannot KILL adults krayts unless he spends literally hours. Using the most effective method of dealing damage, it would take a TKM about 4 hours to kill a single regular adult krayt (not juvenile). Now if he had something else to DEAL the damage, like swordsman for example, it's possible to do as I have done it, but TKM cannot deal enoug damage to kill them, on without resorting to another weapon.

The only way I can think of a TKM having the ability to actually kill adult krayts in a reasonable amount of time WITHOUT resorting to another skill (like swordsman) for damage output is with some crazy loot item like a legendary VK which deals massive damage, or a VK with a very strong DOT on it.

yeah, it would have to be a massive DOT...

My friend had a VK he could get up to 6k damage in PvE...after a KD. I think Canyons have 80% resists on them, so that's only 1200 damage per second...on one Krayt....

So, to the original poster...

MIGHT he have been exploiting? Yes. However, you don't know what professions he has, or even what moves he was using...he might have been using some exploit, or he might have just been using something that some other people havn't figured out yet...the fact is, you don't know, and you have no proof...

report this if you feel justified, but you have no evidence...at least that you've shown us..it's your word, against his...

...so don't feel bad when/if you see the same guy doing the same thing tomorrow....

Was he a pure TK?

Etc...etc...

There are a whole lot of questions that could, when answered, make this perfectly reasonable given the current state of the game.

I know people who spend all of their time soloing the supposedly un-soloable MOB's in the game...so it is definitely possible...the only thing that makes me wonder is...was he just banging on them with some VK's and ripping them down that fast?

Yea, im curious as well... i have witnessed someone pretty much SOLO the tusken Observer. When i asked him about how he was able to do it, he replied that he had a 45% IMP. PSG and 85% comp armor. (funny thats EXACTLY what i have) and the Observer can take me down in 2 or 3 shots.

Thanks guys for all your help,

Wateo

I managed to solo an observer as a swordsman/doc.. I pretty much spammed headhit 3 whith a self heasl after every 2 or 3 hits, while wearing 80% kinetic comp arour..oh and buffed t the hilt of course..still went through about 12 doses of brandy and 2 muons doing it mind...fun. Now i'm a carbineer and I can't kill much of anything hehe..

The thing is bro, this guy i watched solo the Observer was taking AT THE MOST 50-100 points of damage. MAXIMUM. I NEVER saw him get hit hard like the observer is KNOWN to do. and he was the ONLY one attacking the damn thing. So i could see that if you were a TKM with master doc or sword/doc that it wouldnt be to hard (as long as you kept him attacking melee with no rifle) but even then this guy was taking almost no damage. And when he DID get hit with 50-100 points? That was the MOST i saw. Average hit was prolly more around 5-30 points. And this is the OBSERVER!!! I don't know....

This got me to thinking...I have heard people state that intimidate 1 cuts the dmg by 50%, which I know is pretty correct...BUT I have heard people say that intimidate 2 cuts the dmg by 75%. If this is the case then that could explain only being hit for 50 dmg or so, cause I know for a fact when I put intimidate 2 on Krayts/NS Edlers/etc they never hit me for more than 50-100 dmg.

boo hoo, i cant solo a krayt myself and i saw someone solo 3, it must be a new exploit. Half the people here have said its possible, i too say its possible as i have seen it done, no exploits invovled.i Go hunting on dath all the time and i see 2 guys ALL the time slear the nightsister stronghold with ease. i talk to them all the time, guess what, they know how to play the game. This game is all about numbers and skill modifiers and enhancements and timing, once you look beyond the pretty interface and understand how the AI works within the game, you can know what your limitations are and what you can and cannot take. The SWG Client interface could just as easily be replaced with a tiny radar screen with dots, and a bunch of numbers scrolling up and down the screen with complex mathematical equations, thats really all the game is, there are no skills invovled in this game, its not like a first person shooter where you actually control if you live or die and exactly what the character does, the Software does that, once you understand what commands actualy do and when to heal yourself etc etc, timing will be the only thing that matters in taking down a highend mob, thats it, nothing else. The screen could look like the matrix for god sake, all about the numbers.

If the devs wanna fix the "combat balance" they dont need software developers they need a good mathematician imho

Slim151, why don't you go TKM and see for yourself? How childish can you be? "Just because I'm a pistoleer and I can't do something, no one should be able to." What a baby. As a TKM, I can rock just about any other prof's world in a duel, including yours. In fact, if you take off your armor, I bet I can do it in under 10 seconds. Heck, i can take on 3-4 guys and school them. That's the profession. I have high melee defenses, FAST attack and deal solid damage. Now, move beyond 10m and you win. i surrender. I'm sorry your 14-year old sensibilities are hurt, but grow up. how does a TKm soloing an NOC you can't in anyway legitimately affect your enjoyment of the game? The answer: you're not happy with what you are you want to screw everyone else instead of trying something new. Moron.

And to answer your obviously short-sighted question: when's the last time you saw an NPC in 85% comp armor?I got an idea! How about as a TKM,I get a bunch of people to complain about 85% kinetic comp armor and get the devs to nerf your $300k suit? You're obviously using an exploit, because you shouldn't be able to reduce my damage to 2 digits. Oh, but your armor is perfectly ok and my ability to solo anything in PvE isn't? please...

PS Ropik, above stands for you too.

Go ahead and report. See what happens. nothing. The CSRs know as well as the devs what a TKM can do. They may one day nerf TKM and that'll suck, but they aren't gonna ban this guy or do anything. I can promise you that. And again, besure to use up that 85% armor, because I think I'm gonna start a thread entitled: Question for 85%+ comp armor users before I report...

WOW dude LOL you really took this to heart Look, read the above posts and see that I DID agree that since it IS possible i will be going TKM LMFAO. So OBVIOUSLY im not trying to screw ANYBODY. Sheesh... you got really worked up aout this bro!!! My suggestion? read what people have posted... BEFORE you mouth off lol. You might just see that HALF of you say it ISNT possible and the other half say it is... That leads me to believe one of two things.

1) either there is an exploit (or an incredibly unbalanced prof)

1)b I dont think this is the case and I THOUGHT i made that clear... when i said that i will be going TKM ASAP and the fact that when it comes to a ranged profession a TKM can be pretty much worthless. or....

2) that only half of the TKMs are well versed in what their particular characters proffesion may be capable of.

2)b I think this is probably more likely due to the fact that so many have said it IS possible.

Lastly bro? before you decide to start slinging childish namecalling remarks about my "14-year old sensibilities" and me being a "moron" and so on... Do what most of these adults on this thread have done. Read what others have written and make a reasonable assessment based on ALL the information given, then give a reasonable answer. Don't just throw your littleflame out there for all the world to see so you can look like an inteligent adult, because all it does is make you look stupid for trying to look so cool. Buti hope you got your 15 minutes of fame at the expense of my 14-year old sensibilities.

To everyone that posted with a intellectual post concerning this matter (and a decent arguement it was i might add) I WILL BE GOING TKM (thats for you IonControl) Partly because now that i know that a tkm has the ability to solo a krayt i want that power hehe, but also because it would only make me that much better of a player.

Thank you to everyone that had something inteligent to say you helped a few of us to understand more about the game and have actually infuenced myself gracias

This is how to solo giant mobs...

INTIMIDATE. Just spam it till it sticks and respam once it wears off. I can tank anything with non-100 kenetic resist with Intimidate.

i am a master tk on sunrunner and no we cant... but the right combo of classes may be able to... but if they really did put a cap on stackable resists then it doesnt matter........ so if you take tk and fencer you get stacked super melee def... even a krayt might not hit.. but they are supposed to change that
