The Nightblade is better only in that you can get it multiple times without trading/buying it from others. The Katarn knucklers are lower SAC and do quite a bit more damage now that elemental is fixed.

In my view, TKM is a great compliment profession to Swords or Pike combined, much like MLS/MDef in Jedi, great damage and great defenses. I adjusted my template to TKM/MSword/Fencer 4004/medic 0040 running imp COB & Sword flurry & Pikata Pie with the ability to heal 1420+ with BE clothes and I was able to solo 2 Krayts at a time and 6 level 81-82 NS at a time this morning it is insane and I thought devs has once stated there'll be no more soloing high end MOBs in the CU.

With the new weapons of the Katarn knuckler and Nightblade it deals alot of damage, so TKM in a way is almost back to where it was pre-CU.
