Thread: Inate armor is Not On par with 8k+ resist armor.
I see there are so many topics on innate armor that I hate to start another one... so I hope no one minds me asking something here.
First, I have no issues with my toon that has TKM. That +60 innate armor works as well as any battle armor I have used and leaves little weakness when having to fend off both energy and kinetic attacks at the same time. Especially with CoB running.
Now my question is... I have my alt who only has room for 2 lines of TK. Is +40 innate armor enough to fight medium PvE content if I added in 0/4/4/0 TK? Not talking about tanking Nightsisters, or CL80+ elites. Just your basic CL50-78ish non elite mobs. That toon has the ability to wear either recon or assault armor with no hinderance... but wanted to ask if unless I am going after high end content... would that +40 innate armor be enough to reduce a decent portion of damage to stay alive in clothing? I am just so used to not wearing armor with my TKM and like the RP aspect of not needing to wear armor unless it absolutely needed on my alt that I would prefer to stay with innate armor. Any thoughts on this folks? Any opinions good or bad are appreciated.

it should help you fine with CoB running you should be able to take about 3-4 cl 80's if you have good heals with it, but without heals id say about 2 cl 80's
Great that was what I was wanting to hear. Thanks for the reply. If I was going after something with 3-4 CL 80's etc was planning on going ranged and throwing on Assault or Recon armor for those kinds of fights. Just wanted to be able to goof off with guildmates and keep the style of my character being a tough brawler type with guns
Thanks again for the reply.
