Thread: can i solo a rancor?
lol i love hunting rancors in a group, we get to the mission everyone satnds well back and starts saying stuff like "all attack the same one" and "make sure to use the pets" and while there saying that i run in there kd+warcry and they never get back up. and the noobs are like "WOW MAN that was F**king cool"
However after 10min i start getting moaned at cos there not getting any xp, so i tell them i'll sit this mission out and let them do it. Can anyone guess what happens next?.....
Yep they start incapping left and right, then comes the spam "why wern't you doing anything"

You could of just "tanked".... you know.. cob, stun, occasional kd+warcry, intimidate... and NOTHING more.....

Classic. I know the feeling. But as the post just under yours, we can tank them for the others to get xp too. I've been doing that a lot lately. I killed my first Rancor the other night. My buddy and I were out fighting and saw some Rancors. He said, "Let's go try to kill them". I was like, "No way!" But he went in anyway. (He was 0-0-2-0 TKA and I was 4-3-4-3, TKM after that night). Well to my amazement, he was hanging in there. I was just going to stand back and watch him get killed and then revive him, I thought. But when I saw that it wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be I joined the battle. We killed a younger one (forget what they are called) and 2 Bull Rancors. Then he attacked the lair. About spawned and attacked. He got killed and I was barely able to kill them (thanks to equalize and my buffs). But I was truly amazed at how easy it really was. My buddy couldn't quite kill a Bull Rancor by himself. His mind would finally go out just before he killed it. Then I'd finish it off with like 2 unarmedhit2's. I could take them easily. Neither of use use armor either. Just doctor buffs and Muon Gold.
So to the original poster, you sure can if you get buffed up and use KD+warcry and beat them down. It's quite a rush. You should try it as soon as you get a chance.
