LOL, dude, don't tell me you have probs making money too.

Up until yesterday you could hit Endor with one other person and run 22k - 30k missions that were very doable, get a smuggler in the group to slice terminals and it gets very nice. Just had to make sure you went North, South was a death trap. Always more than one way of doing things...just because your way is hard doesnt mean other people haven't found a better way. btw - Endor missions wasnt an exploit, the reason its harder now is because of the abundance of Marek spiders crawling around up north now.

Endor wasnt the only gold mine in the game, some are still there...

Most players I know run around with about a half million. Droid and weapon crafters are well in the millions, as are most architects, BH and Smuggler make tons of credits. Fine how about something cheaper? I take it you're not a gambling man.

Oh, btw, I bumped one of the brawler posts that was on the front page of this board. Umm...I mean one of the posts you said werent here.

I have never stated, or saw(if i did i simply ignored it and passed it off) anyone saw getting Novice TK was hard. It is rather simple. Granted by the time i got novice TK i was already a CH from all the hides i collected. But it wasnt that hard. over 90% of posts on tk board are about TK skills and pvp. If it actually takes anyone more than 2 weeks to get TK Novice(and that is what they are trying to do), they are just an extremely casual gamer.

What do I expect? A game that I paid $50 for and $15 a month to work.

I see one thread in which you bumped, the guy was asking for advice on gaining brawler experience, he should've posted in the brawler forum.

Trollbacca, your post is almost helpful, giving good suggestions on how to work the brawler trees easily rather than doing the grind, but **edit**, after reading it, I don't take away the helpful message but rather just want to say.."woopty doo, good for you"

As everyone else has said, this is the TKA forum, people on the brawler forum mayuse your post more constructively (if addressed in a less "you're an idiot" manner).

Try posting your method on the brawler forum and help those guys out who need it, we don't.

I am still a little curious about the purpose of your post, dude. It says "I'm beginning to wonder if most of you have even played a Brawler in this game...". Needless to say we all had to bea brawler as a prerequisite, but also most TKA also become a master brawler for that extra boost. Why complain that the TKA are forgetting what it is like to be a brawler, we finished with that a month ago. Now it is our time to deal with an elite class. Your post just confuses me as to its purpose here. It doesn't seem to give us anything constructive that would help a TKA perform better in combat. All this does is show us an easy way to reach novice. Big deal we all hit novice in a few days without any tricks. It isn't difficult at all. I would love for you to give some examples of these supposed brawler posts on the front page of our forum. (p.s. your post doesn't count)

Be sure to post updates Tollbacca, as you get further into the TK line and realize - wow - these guys actually do know what they are talking about!

I know I made a post of it being harder to raise. Without looking at my exact words, I hope I said harder compared to other professions. But just to be on the safe side I'll say I said hard. My only complaint of that nature was why take away vk without putting something in there place. I also reached tka novice in about a week without vk knucklers and that was before patch, I just didnt feel like hunting them down at that time. Other professions get greater jumps in there weapons, I think I could reach tka novice in about a week, alittle longer I dont play 24/7 and you most likely have better methods. But I could reach novice on other professions (really in range) in about 2-3 days well alittle longer as there would be times I need to earn the money for new weapon instead of getting best exp that I can. Just making sure my most earlier post isnt going to get single out for that reason.

Plus this topic does sound more for brawler professions, mine was on kucklers and was more for getting more damage types for tka's

Mastered TKA, Commando, Marksman, Medic, Scout, Brawler, Image Designer, Combat Medic, Fencer....,
How many skills mastered for a holo? 1 : Image designer... then all was silent
How many skills will be done for FS now? Zero (Just to lazy to grind only for a chance it might be the fifth one)
Currently: Bladesmaster, Master Scout

Here's your first update.

Completed Novice TKA and Intermediate Balance Conditioning. I've earned over 200,000 xp so far today, let's saythat's all the xp I earn....That's umm...about 2 1/2 weeks to hit Master TKA. I bet I can earn a little more xp today though. And yes i've slept between my last post and this one I'm wondering why you guys post about getting 300 - 500 per kill as a TKA. I was getting 250 - 375 as a Novice brawler and doing much better now.

Be prepared, I'll be Master TKA in well under 2 1/2 weeks at this rate. Then I'll be back and tell you again that I don't think you've played a brawler profession.

Those of you telling me there are no brawler posts on this board other than the one I bumped for the blind guyearly this morning...put your money where your mouth is and i'll post links to a ton of em. All you gotta do is hit the search button, select TKA board and they're not hard to find. Not to mention there will benew ones posted within a day or 2 probably.

Another person didnt read the post. Yeah I was twinked and the Med skill helped a lot, but were talking about skills and an item that you can get solo in a few days, not like I saved myself a few months of grind. I guarantee I could start on a new server and have Novice TKA in 4 days or less, and have the same gear I have now and then continue on to TKA Master as i'm doing now.

10,000 in 5 minutes? Cool.....and why can't you seem to level? Thats 120,000 per hour. Say you played 4 hours a day thats about a week or so tohit Master TKA. What was your problem with leveling again?

Agreed - TKA specials are fuxored. So are specials in other classes i've played, some for the better, some for the worse, thats what happens when you release a game inbeta form. It doesnt prevent me from leveling though, or it hasnt yet at least. I bet that before long SOE reaches at least minimal balance in this game, and that will more than likely include making TKA specials worth using sometimes.

We'll see where i'm at in a couple of days. Hopefully in a week or 2 i'll be able to get owned by chefs and tailors in PvP. God forbid I take down a BH or Pistoleer, you'll never hear the end of that one. I know it's not impossible, I watched a Master TKA take one in Bestine today while waiting on the shuttle. Hard? probably, but wheres the fun in being almighty and unbeatable.

Whats up with no edit button on these boards?! Gimped.

Hmm, that should be 5,000 xp in 10 minutes. I know you'll flame the hell outta me for that typo so i'll correct it now.

Either way...

What was your problem with leveling again?

Troll, you don't seem to realize that you don't get the same XP from creatures when you start to level up. Right now you are getting full XP from everything cause all you had was a basic skill tree. Once you start in the elite tree, not only does xp required for a level increase, but xp recieved for a creature is decreased. Back in the day I could fight Humbabas for 1k xp each and do quite well, now that I am a TKA they only give about 100 or so. You can't just fight the same things that gave you tons without having all it's friends go aggro on you, now all the things you must fight for xp come in groups. P.S. most of us didn't use a CH meatshield to help us. We just took our punishment like a man because when we were coming up there weren't ANY creature handlers because they were just as low level as we were when they just bought the game. We had to pioneer this game because we had no idea what to expect. Please let this post die, it has no use on the TKA forum.
