Yes, my current complaint about CH players is that they have a virtual army with them. With three pets out, they can take just about anything. Makes the case for, if you want to level faster, get some CH boxes and wield multiple pets.

I don't like that very much. However, even I have been tempted to pick up some CH for the good pets. Would be nice to have a pet tank adds for me on tough lairs. On the other hand, it's nice to know I can deal with those adds on my own with a bit of healing and strategy.

To each their own.

Im a TKa - And got no idea of what i should mix with my Master TKA(Not yet)!

I know that the proffesions i always wanna have is:

-TKA: 0/0/0/0 - Going all the way to Master:-)

-Novice Entertainer: 0/1/0/0 - This is just for a bit of mind heal, when Entertainers are not around!

-Novice Carbineer/Pistoleer/Rifleman: - One of these to novice! Will give me some ranged to add

This will leave me with 106 Skill Points left!! And i seriously don't know what to use the last for!
I also currently have novice CH - I don't really like it to be honorst..... The cool part is to catch and sell pets! I like the small pets - I don't really think it's fun or cool to have does large battle tanks! Now.... If only a much fewer audience, have had all does GIANT animals, then i think CH would have been something really special! But im gonna give it up! Just ain't my style

I got enouge skill points to master, one of the Artisian Proffesions! I like the idea of being able to craft! I just heard allot of bad things about, it's only grinding classes, and it's boring!

Maybe medic? I won't have enouge skill points to get far up doctor - And Master Medic dosen't seem powerful! I wouldn't able to get far up combat medic, if i would try! Same goes for bio-engineer which would force me to take scout! But already got Hunting IV!Ranger i don't think is my style!

I could though, give up on noviceEntertainer and become a Master Bio-engineer! I just doubt it will be fun to create uber animals if you cant use them urself

I really dont know what to mix with my TKA skills

I'm up to 1-1-4-2 on my Teras Kasi, and let me tell you it took me forever just to get to 1-1-2-1. I got the other three boxes two nights ago. How? Grouped with a guy who's almost TKM MCH. He has a sludge panther and a razor cat, his buddies, he RPs with them. Anyway, I picked up creature handler a while ago too, and I can use grauls now (2-2-1-1). I don't use the graul too much, I stick with my Grand Wrix (took me four friggin hours to find and tame one..) and my Sludge Panther (took my 4 minutes. sigh) because they're faster. Yes, I use them as tanks, and with my newly discovered 7 meter range (No VKs) they tend to keep aggro off me. I'm gonna drop CH when I hit master TK, even though I really do like my pets. My PA needs a smuggler, and I volunteered for that position. Since I'm getting put into smuggler, I've also decided that I'll take up Pistoleer.
That makes a decent combo, as you can apply double bleed, do a long range warcry attack, long range knockdown, then switch to VKs and hit with dizzy, warcry, and then spam UH3 til they're dead (wouldn't be long by that point).

I am a TKMand an MCH. Why? They are my 2 favorite professions. TKA in itself is a powerful profession and can stand alone without much anything else. Adding CH opens up the options you havewithout a group. I don't like wearing armor, using buffsor spice and I rarely PB. CH makes that possible.

As far as my pets being meatshields, I usually kill the critter before they get a chance to get back up from a KD/warcry or KD/dizzy depending on what you are fighting. And in most cases, my pet(s) and I hardly get much damage. Pets usually are not that good at holding aggro, once you engage and use specials on harder targets, but after playing this combo for a while you learn.

What I love about my pets is figuring out which ones to use for whatever I encounter. They all have there own specials attacks, and since we only have kinetic, it can be a great help. If I was not a CH, I would avoid going up against an 80% Kinetic resist Medium armor NPC w/o a group. Me and my TMBcan do that all day No armor, buffs or spice. Well ok, yes, thats when I PB up

Plus, now that I am done XP grinding, I love going outto different planets, exploring,and finding pets to tame.

One side note I'd like to add. When I decided on this build, I wanted to be highly effective solo(w/o grouping for you smart&$$es) and also be able to contribute to any group in whatever encounter. For example, I have yet to go on a Krayt hunt, but I read that melee classes could not tank or do very much vs the higher level Krayts. As a MCH, you can cycle between 2 GM's and be very useful.

Bottom line is that it comes down to fun. These are my 2 favorite professions. I wouldn't change either, no matter what a holocron says.
