I'm in complete disgust of this game - back to DAoC untill a worthy next generation MMORP surfaces.

SOE and developers shove SWG up your azz untill u choke - thanks for heisting a total of my $65.

Sseese. You have posted a perfect post. I agree with you 100%! I tried to make a post like your more early but I am not nearly gifted as you because whenIpost a message I am not aalways presenting the facts wellor as goodwriting myfeeling into a post as you have just done.

after reading Koster's posts on our 'fix' coming up, i truly believes he and the rest of SOE need to read this.

For those who remember camping out for the first 'Star Wars' movie outside the theaters, this game was a dream come true. But the reality of the game is far from the dream.

Sadly, what is happening here is very reminiscent of what happened when Brad (the creator of EQ) left EQ.

Bottom line, it's all about money, and I was so hoping that Lucas was above that. that he cared about the story and the fans more. For if that showed through, the money would roll in. If not, well, my account remains cancelled, (and, let me add, the dream dies with it).

SOE, you 'inherited' the greatest of content for a game. Spending time 'nerfing' its player base, will only make them spend time to 'defeat' you (instead of actually playing the game). And trust me, look at the past, in every game you have put out, the player base always finds a way to 'defeat' anything. Please, try and recall why you have the PRIVILEDGE of this game, and go back to creating a Star Wars Universe,(a Galactic Civil War, not a Plaver vs SOE War. It's not healthy, for either side).

Excellent post, I think you've just about summarized everyone's thoughts. Whatever happened to the age old addage "The customer is always right"...? SOE trying to make a great star wars game reminds me of WWF/WWE trying to make great wrestling. If they'd just listen to their fan base they'd do just fine, but they seem to think they know what we want better than we do

Great post. I totally agree with just about everything. But my personal belief was that it wasn't released early because school was starting. EQ2 is planned for an end of the year release, and if SWG were delayed another 3 months they would be going head to head. That means most players that were considering Star Wars would likely pick one or the other, but not both.

Granted basically all MMORPGs have had bugs and balance issues at launch. But the amount of show stopping bugs in SWG is just embarassing. I give major kudos to Ralph for his efforts, but unfortunately it's not enough to dispell the negativity I feel about SWG.
