the Aa'kuan's seem to be a religious cult of sorts, concentrating on all forms of brawling rather than any ranged combat. I have seen them outside of the cave near Narshal, but don't know if they are a standard mission type you can pick up.

Inside the cave, the fighting is a blast. At TKM, the various groups con white and blue, with the ones accompanying the Aa'kuan champion conning yellow since the patch 12/16. Difficulty of the npcs doesn't seem to have much to do with the loot drops, as I've picked up a +5 ranged defence ring off a whitecon, and +10 disease resist belts off blues and whites.

As for faction? You start out with neutral, and all the Aa'kuans are BAF. Once i reached the bottom of the cave, I'd accumulated my -5k faction with them, so now its a more fast paced run thru the complex. If you're looking for a good series of hand to hand fights, i highly recommend it.

Is this cave for Imps or Rebels? My meaning to that is whatare the Akkurans considered to be? Are they considered good/beneficial(forRebs)or bad/dark (good for Imps) faction to have?

it's probably one of the NPC heralds, like the guy in anchorhead that tells you about and gives a waypoint to a tusken villiage.

The aakuran cave is awesome, I cleared it 5 times over the course of a day, and got two +5 ranged defense rings, two +10 disease resist belts, two poison resist shirts, and some sort of cloak thing. I got 6 armor attachments (all were total crap, +3 to pike speed, +4 medical forage), some C22 grenades, and about 50 CDEF guns.

I sat around for 40 minutes inbetween clearing the cave and waiting for the first respawn.

Respawn took 20 minutes.

There's a nice stream nearbye you can go fishing in.

I caught about 100 fish that day.

Finished clearing the Cave.

Loot:

Normal Pants

1 jar of spice

1 armor attachment +5 Polearms

Nothing else.

However there are three containers which are locked. This morning was rather disappointing for me.
