I dont have any trouble tanking these, I probly could take one solo but that is far to long a fight and I choose to get a ranged buddy and tag team him. I tank and area heal, DOT him up good and we whale on him, ancients start getting tough, giants are pretty easy even unbuffed with messed up foods but my mind usually gets low.
Lately I've been farming these things with 2 person groups, I use taunt to keep aggro plus the area heals keep heal hate on me.

Hehe, and ppl wonder why premiums aren't droping anymore
And yeah, lower lvl Krayts are cake, the only larger ones I tried, were Grands, pulled one, and the other came with him

With foods and buffs (wouldn't fight any other way).... I have no problems killing any krayts 1vs1. Granted ancients and giants take a while....I think a full tempjedi withalot ofdefender could probably do it in half the time it takes me with my damage sliced SAC pupped katarns.I actually find fighting a canyon and junv at the same timemore challenging than an ancient....but I always win that match up too. BTW i'm MTKA xx43 Swords4xx4 Doc and xxx4 Fencer.

haven't You heard? CU destroyed BGH, and Soloing.
But here is the food I use to TRY:
Crispic
Air Cake
atlia (sp) It gives you healing+ (I think, I don't really notice)
Mandolorian Wine
As for doing enough damage... pick up Jedi and use a LS. HAHAHAHAA ROFL, sorry Umm really I can't help yea there, I haven't been
TKM/A Since Pre-CU, It was hella fun back then. I do notice that all melee suck now and Ranged will beat us anyday. (damage output
anyway.)

we're forgeting about roots and snares, they're nasty
if they can do the damage to me, or even hit me with my template, then they are lucky

All of the Kryats are easy to solo except ancient.....I get buffed and take blob bofa and caf. Right before I attack I use Booster Vegesperine and pikitta. I use a Adk Kartarn Knuckles with damage slice and sac pup. My temp is MTK Mpike DOc 4000.....always run cob.....i open with intimidate and warcry....stun dizzy and reg brawler armour break, then I hit Impale Adv comb and Leg hit. If you keep all thos states on and repeat that sequence your mind will never drop below 75%.

Most important factor in Krayt hunting is
Drumroll please....
Practical experience.
If you are new to it, the dragons will tear you a new one (or two or three).
Here's my gameplan, which with practice (and occasionally luck) can take Juveniles, Canyons and Giants:
Current Template: TKM, MSwords, Doc 4000, pretty generic really.
Current Weapon: Unsliced Kat Knuckles, PuP'd down to 53 SAC
Food Mix: 15Min Brandy, 185 Spiced Tea, 50+Pikatta Pie, Vegeparsine around +100, and a Booster Blue
Other: STIMPACKS!!!
I keep a 15min 200AR 50MR brandy in me all the time, as well as a 184MR Spiced tea and a 50Dodge Pikatta pie. This is enough to keep you alive until you can get yourself situated into the fight if one spawns unexpectedly.
When I go into battle, I add Vegeparsine and a Booster Blue to the mix. Turn on CoB (with an alarm macro, so I don't forget about it in the heat of battle) and Improved Infusion (same alarm macro)
I open with Adv Armor Break, Adv Leg Sweep, Imp Power Attack, Bleed Attack (to negate some of it's Regen), Adv Dizzy. Then cycle Imp Power, Imp Crit, Adv Combo, throwing in a KD whenever possible and re-applying bleed when it quits.
Trick is to stay on top of your heals and DON'T EVER LET COB FALL OFF!!!!!
Lemme say that again DO NOT EVER LET YOUR COB DOWN!!!
This works very well against the big lizards, although I must add that hunting with a one or two others (I never hunt in a group bigger than three, too much loot-sharing then) makes it a LOT faster and a LOT easier.

It is actually pretty easy with my template, and yes i do solo giants (even though they drop jack more).
TKM/0444 Swordsman/4004 Doc/0004 Combat Prowess
Only foods I use are some cheap synth steak, blob candy, spiced tea and some booster blue.
If I feel lazy tommorow, i'll mabye download fraps or get someone else to fraps it for me. It is pretty easy actually to solo a krayt you just need sac puped Katarns so you can keep pooring on the hits and be sure to have good healing power. Never let CoB drop and hit the steak when you start to get lower on mind.

Tried to solo a krayt today. It was a giant canyon and using fist I did horrible damage. Changed to vibro lance did alittle more horrible damage. It was impossible and I had to burst run away. Some tank LOL! TKA damage is the suxor. Hope they take a look at it. There are no weapons other than two Kashyyyk knucklers. Blaster fist suck and bare fist suck your action dry.
they may do lower dmg but they go pretty fast... i love the dmg speeed so i 12% sliced the speed and put a 33% dmg on it DPS 590 5 somethin-835 dmg 2.06 speed still nice
