I grinded through TKN without armor or buffs, and it did take not too much time. Just kill any critter you see - even the weakest ones - since anything that you can one shot or kill without any problem means less downtime and it adds up. See a lair of low level creatures? Stand in it and spam spinattack1.

Although, if you are doing missions, then the buffs pay for themselves, since you can run a lot of missions when beuffed, and you can choose your prey.

Using an unarmed hit 2,you should start to see 900-1100per Unarmed Hit 2with good VK's at novice level.

Buff's help a lot, true, tho you can get a decent set of armor and complete the whole tree in a day of normal playtime, thats what i did and it worked fine. I grinded with quenkers on Dantooine. You can get a set of composite or ubese, and can use them for the grind to tkm too.

I'm getting back to Master Teras Kasi, but I have to say that there are certain PARTS of Teras Kasi that are overpowered when compared to the way everything else works...

The meditate line. The meditate line is probably the most powerful line in the game IMO, and one of the reasons I am getting Teras Kasi instead of Swordsman or whatever.

Their damage. While their damage isn't absolutely excessive, the fact is their minimum damage is only slightly less than their maximum damage, making melee damage mitigation worthless against them. I've seen them tear through other melees without using knockdown/dizzy.

That being said, there are plenty of ways to kill a Teras Kasi that they have difficulty defending against. It just depends on one thing, really: Are you a person who fights by standing there hitting F1 (or whatever) like you do in every other fight... Or can you think through a fight? It's what seperates cannon fodder from those who really shine...

BLASPHEMOUS HEATHEN!!!!! THE POWER TO PROGRAM A VCR IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE POWER OF A TKM... A WELL PLACE UARMED HIT3 CAN TAKE OUT INTERNET CONNECTION ON THE EAST COAST.. IT'S RUMORED THAT A TKM WAS THE SECOND SHOOTER ON THE GRASSY KNOLL.. AND THEY HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO BITE A VAMPIRE.. OR TWO.. THEM FELLERS TASTE LIKE CORN.. ~~~HISSS~~~

is TKA all powerful?

If you call having only one damage type that is the easiest to protect against "all powerful" then yes

/meditate

Bria- Master Medic / Master Brawler / TKM ~(Hero of Tatooine)~

Scylla- Carbineer / TK ~(Hero of Tatooine)~

Tempest- Master Doctor / TKM

Honestly tho... If you want to see how powerful a TKM is... take away the armor and the buffs and let him hit the Geno caves...

Many words will go thru your mind...

None of them have to do with power...

Mostly they will be different variations of curse words muttled together into one mesmerizing mantra that will get your wife to aggro on you.....

if you need xp for novice TK then it should be really easy seeing as you have master marksmen, just go after Leviasqualls on Rori, they are really slow and will never catch u up, just apply a bleed to them, then kite them, and when they get to 1 health just run in with the knucklers and hit them all dead, they give around 1800xp and there very little risk in doing it this way

That has been nerfed, it doesn't work any more. The only good way now is to get buffs and brandy, a nice set of Ubese armor, and then head to Leviasqualls or some other kinetic weak mob with no armor then go to town. I did mine on Levias and regular tortons.
