REally what you want with tkm/fencer is the defeses for both of course, i mean fencer caps on dodge and the the tkm has not as much but it finishs out your special defenses, also by taking both your almost maxiing out your defenses vs intim, dizzy, kd etc. What i use tkm for is first off for the buffs, and also the dizzy kd can be extremly deadly when followed up by my ackly stun baton 213-400 dmg, then lets say they have high def vs kd then you swithc to lunge 1, which is why i think you dont really need master brawler. save those points for the medic and extra skills you want like scout, artisan(for mines), or heck if you awnt you can even splice in some entertainer if you dont take master brawler, also tkm gives you stun which is nice to throw on your opponent, btw if your going tkm id max your mind out to 1100 , for a nice buff well peace out guys

Generally for PVP I stick to fencer and a stun baton. Fencers are basically dangerous because their center of being has a dramatic affect on their evasion rates. There is a quick macro you write up to cycle center of being for you. It works great.

I try and and land intimidate2, one handdizzy2,one hand lunge 1 and scatter 2 the heck out of them. The only time I usually use TKM in PvP is, if the other person is unarmored. Then I go for the same intimidate, posture change dizzyknockdown and head hit them to death. Get the best vk's you can and get them sliced. I bought a crate of 10 and had them sliced until I got high damage ones. I use a couple 192 max damage VK's with and powers to get the damage up to 250. Those absolutely tear through anything unarmored.

In addition to TKM/Master Fencer would it be worth the points to take Pistoleer 0-0-4-0 for the added state defense bonuses and ranged damage mitigation? Or is it a waste of points? I want to get back into PvP again I think. PvE is starting to bore me but I would like to still be effective there too.

I have been a TKM for a few months now but have been away from the game for a bit. I am having a rough time deciding on what professions to add to TKM.I love TKM. It was the first profession Imastered and I want a template that will make me a good TK.

Proposed template would be:

TKM

Master Fencer

Pistoleer 0-0-4-0

Smuggler 0-0-1-0 (for feign death)

Medic 1-1-1-0

The medic seems a bit weak but not really anyplace else to put the points. Same for smuggler. Not sure if the feign death would be worth it but I know I loved it in EQ on my monk heh. Anyway some insight from more experienced players would be appreciated.

the reason for taking master brawler is mainly for pve, where you can use intimidate 2 when your tanking large mobs, which lasts a lot longer than intimidate 1. also the extra toughness doesnt hurt, and warcry 2 works well against kiters.

another real good combo is master TK and master pikeman, when you master pikeman, you can block anything. It gets really really hard for anyone to hit you

block is a 50% dmg reduction, you are better off in fencer and or swordsman tree since counter and dodge are 100% mitigation
