After hearing about the 6m "fudge factor" i'm not going to be happy till we have 15m range. Sounds unrealistic at first, but really after taking the 6 meters into account for 2 moving people that only gives us a range of 3m. As it stands our -8 range is almost totally unplayable, and even more so now that we can't lunge enough to catch up once closing the gap to 15m.

yep there are alot of creatures that we get the old out of range message on.

gotta love 3m combat in a 10second delay at best lag game, just imagine chasing a kiter, acutaly landing lunge, then standing on him to only get the out of range message there too, im sure most of you ahve whitnessed this.

simply put 3m doesn't cut it, even 5m will struggle to work, we really need a server side /stick comand, that bypasses these obstycles for us, because the game just isn't set up to acomidate 3m range fighters.

I couldn't agree more. This is my first and foremost complaint about TKA as it stands now. Seems as though Sony made the "hit box" on creatures right in the middle of the body. This makes it impossible to hit large creatures with VK's equiped. Even taking off my VK'swhile fightingTorturs on Talus, I cannot hit the creature. And even worse, they keep moving backwards. Giant Crystal Snakes on Yavin come to within 4m of me, I get a range modifier above the mob and I just stand there getting hit for 150 damage until I put away the knuckles.

Now that the range thing is off my chest.... what about Intimidate failure rate. Am I doing something wrong or is this the nature of the beast? Most creatures on Dantooine (or anywhere for that matter)"resist" intimidate at least 4 times before it finally sticks. Sure, I get lucky sometimes and get it to stick first try but most of the time, I get fail fail fail fail. I am now 2443 TKA and if I cant get Intimidate to "stick" to a mob on at least the 2nd try, I will fall tomostwhite con mobs on the harder planets. Soloing blues and getting 400xpor less per kill when I need 450k xp for3 tiers of my profession is really slow and hardly worth soloing for. So I ask this, does stunning/blinding the mob before Intimidate help the failure rate? How about the Scout Stink Bomb trap?

Please Sony.... the damage increase was nice a few patches ago but if we cant hit 'em, we cant do any damage. This issue should be at the top of the list for TKA problems.

All you have to do is knock it down every now and then or lunge...oh wait...our tactics don't work anymore. *cries*
