Ark, why is it you feel the need to put teras kasi in the gutter? Is it the popular belief of its incredible power (even in the age of 90 percent KINETIC RESIST, PSGs, and Synthsteak) ? Is it the fact that your own profession is sadly broken except for the players with the uber loot? Is it because you just dont like the profession, or something? I'm sorry, but its rare to see someone like this when there is next to no incentive. I mean, I cant really fathom it; if it was a case of being too powerful, you would be knocking on a Fencer, Rifleman, Combat Medic, etcs door right now, not teras kasi.

hes been cryin and whinnin about us for months now its nothing new
about 7 months actually....
but one bleed nerf, one mitigation introduction, one addition of +250 unarmed damage, an addition of about 30 melee and ranged defense, a serious overhaul on meditation, for the already perfectly fast, insanely accurate, dizzy+kd kings/queens, of spamming mind hit 1 later...and they are stilly complaining that they have it bad. A new weapon would be nice to tack onto that wouldn't? About +100 damage to your already unbalanced damge and a new damage type would be right inline with the past wouldn't it?
Honestly, i wouldn't have a problem with TKAs if it wasn't for the +250 damage...moreover that the +250 damage adds to the minimum damage....
So while otherproffesions have weapons like...
130-500 @4.5 LVA
Average Damage per hit-315
160-600 @ 5.5 PH
Average Damage per hit-380
90-300 @ 1.0 Gaffi Baton...
Average Damage per hit-195
Teras Kasi has
230-450 @ 1.0
Average Damage Per hit-340
The only one who does more damage on any given hit is the power hammer, but it has like -35/-35/-35 accuracy and swings about 3X slower.
The long vibro axe has -25/-25/-25 accuracy and swings about 2-2.5X slower

TKAs say..."it isn't teras kasi that needs changing for balance, it is every other proffesion!" But thats a really dumb thing to say. Why would you change 3 other proffesions to fall in line with one that is "balanced" already, when you just "balance" the supposedly already balanced one?

Pikeman, fencers, and swordsman really are kind of fine.
Seriously. Swordsman have awesome offence!
Fencer's have awsome defense and speed!
Pikeman have good offense and good speed!
TKAs have awesome damage, speed, AND defense!

A pikeman, a swordsman, a fencer would all be fine soloing about anythign in the game. Each class can be used to get the job done, given a little preperation. But are perfectly capable of doing it.
But a TKA can do it twice as fast, withought taking as much damage.
You tend to complain that fencers have it all over you in pvp. THATS BULL**edit**!
STUN has it all over you in PvP.
Thats not becouse fencers are overpowered or the best at PvP.
Its becouse the devs F'd up the armor and it's all vulnerable to stun.
Pikeman have DOTs now....wich is cool...but a huge F'n mistake...it does the same thing as stun. you can't do anythign to protect against it. That isn't beocuse pikeman is a good proffesion, that is once again becouse the Devs F'd up!

The only reson duels even end anymore is becouse of Dots and Stun damage.
ITs becouse Armor is so F'd up and Buffs, arn't made for PvP.
The ONLY way TKAs would be especialy viable in high end PvP, is if they did stun damage or have Dots. And thats R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D!!! The problem is armor is rediclous. Thats it...
You only do kinetic damage? Boo hoo!
The only non kinetic damage types in melee are....
Electricity - yay for pikeman MORE resisted than kinetic
Energy- yay for pikeman! Not as resisted as kinetic, but the weapon is a POS, a pain to get, but it isn't stun so who really cares?
Blast- Listen to me very carfully here. before i hear another one of you **edit** becouse swordsman get blast, and that alows them to fight higher end creatures than you. Think about this. Swordsman are damage dealers. that's ALL they do! There isn't one positve thing about swordsman other than their high damage. NOT ONE!!! Thet's their job, thats what they do. If you had a damage type that wasn't as resisted as kinetic or heat, that would be TKA's job, now WOULDN'T IT!?! WHY on earth would anyone want swordsman then!?!
Stun- the only reson this even maters is beocuse the deves F'd up the armor. If it wasn't for this what would fencers have? High defense? Fast? Who cares if they Can't HURT anything!?!

I do agree that we do too much damage
but we are supposed to be fast so taking away any of our speed would not make sense
Personaly...i think that it would be sufficent enuff to remove the +250 damage from stacking on to minimum damage...
so a 50-200 damage VK would be..
50-450 @ 1.0 instead of...
300-450@ 1.0
reducing average damge from..
375 @ 1.0 to...
250 @ 1.0
This would leave them with the ability to hit for just as hard as they do now. but like EVERY OTHER PROFFESION, they will hit for alot less than that often, now they do not.
As is....i use as an example...swordsman...
160-600 @ 5.5
Sure they CAN hit close to the 600 and pull off a much meaner hit than the tkas can...
BUT their minimum damage is 160 whereas TKAs would be 300....
That means even though a swordsman COULD hit for the 600 modifer, they are JUST AS LIKELY to hit for the 160...
You know what that means? That swordsman are just as likely to hit for about HALF of TKAs MINIMUM damage as they are to hit for only 4/3s of their maximum...
And miss all the time....
not only that TKAs hardly suffer from mitigation whereas the other proffesions suffer serious penalties...
I use swordsman as an example again...
160-600 @ 5.5
Mitigated to 160-336 @ 5.5
TKAs as is is...
300-450 @ 1.0
Mitigated to 300-360 @ 1.0
Leaving swordsman with 248 average damage per hit and TKA gets 330 average damage per hit, and never miss, and swing every second.
Removing the +250 from adding to minimum damage would make TKAs suffer mitigation...as is....it's really F'n ridiculous.
