Well, hopefully TH will act on the timeframe he stated (by the end of the week) in our other thread...

Yep. For some reason I doubt I'll be picked. Never know, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised though

Seems to me you are the logical choice at this point Ryutek, not only were you our choice but you seem to be filling the post at this point unofficially anyway. Not to mention doing an excellent job with the limited tools you have at this point.

I appreciate the support
I just hope we get an answer soon. Especially since whoever is selected needs to know the information on the Corr. Summit that is coming up (and at this point it is already pretty short notice
)

we'll see, hopefully TH is looking through the apps and will let someone know soon. As for the summit it will be very short notice indeed.

rifle and TKA are already going to be unrepresented at the correspondent summit.
I guess 'short notice' is easy enough to generate if you can put off one correspondent pick for 70 days, and another for as long as is needed.
I guess they don't want some people to show up for the big fun party! everyone disco dancing!
next time, I'll offer up a mirrorball as a bribe for expeditious correspondent picks.

You better! You won the vote of the community.
That says more than anything, and I'm sure that despite how busy they are, they will respect and honor that.

I was hoping our "community" would be larger than a handful of people
I do feel sorry to miss the museum tour at the summit never been to texas

Aye, it would have been nice to get someone in fast enough to get to go to the Summit... I know for me personally I wouldn't be able to get the request in soon enough to get the time off this late in the month, unless some type of miracle happened here at work anyway...
