Pick whatever species will be fun for you. I picked Mon Cal and never regretted it...

Thats right Zabrak even gets 10 Defense Vs Intimidate!! As well as +5 Anti-Shock (take shock wounds less) and high willpower so its really not all that bad... and equilibrium is a life saver... really

or you could just pick what ever you like the most and go for it. Forget about what people say about one species is better then the other

All these people who claim to love their (insert race here) must not pvp. You don't waste stomach space on ahriza unless you're a pro grinder. You also don't waste stomach space on canepe for the additional mind. Even with entertainer buffs you're never going to hit zero cost with armor on to your mind pool unless you're loading your stomach with things that will dramatically reduce your pvp abilities. Anything other than thakatillo synthsteak and burnout sause is a complete waste of stomach space. Humans are unfortunatly the only pvp viable tkm in my opinion. The 1100 focus allows you to zero cost with some nice enc sliced armor and if you get yourself musician buffed you're flyin. If I had the choice between going pve I'd be wookie. Since I'm a pvp jedi hunter I was forced into being human. I really wanted to do a trando but the focus made me cry.

It's a common opinion that the secondaries on humans are a bug (they weren't always that high), so don't pick human just because you can make every stat 1100. Odds are they won't be that way forever and some patch in the future is going to make you a sad puppy.
Also, with master dancer/musician buffs anyone can get to zero cost even with armor. So humans aren't the "only" viable PvPers. I kill humans in PvP all the time.

generic humanoid- very popular
for the man who states that the stomach of true PvPers should only be filled with synthsteak, thaktillo etc....my suggestion to you....dabble. with a little dabbling, you can get your state defs up and xtra toughness. similar results, permanant and an empty stomach to fill with fine pastries to protect our precious minds which (unfortunately) is the deciding factor in PvP.

If you choose a species just because it appears to be better at the moment than another you will get bored or irritated withthe game quickly.
If you choose a species because you like the species then you will adapt to your strenghts and weaknesses andactually enjoy the game.
In the end it's all about fun isn't it?
