has anyone checked if there is a change in damage absorbance modulated by melee defense for the other types of armor, i.e. the "real" ones ?

i beleive INTIMIDATE and WARCRY work on enemies "within melee range".


that being said, i will say this...as soon as somone figures out what "melee range" is, PLEASE TELL ME!!!!!! lol


for me its anywhere from 0m to 30m aparently i think it must be glitched (as are several "range-based" targeting issues in the CU...cloning terminals, being out of range of somthing's head when ur standing inside its body, watching/listening to entertainers, etc...)


terain plays a big part in range as well. if a creature is on a hill, i can attack themwith melee from up to 60m somtimes!!!!!!


i think all these issues will be fixed in the near future, as the DEVs have time to solidify the CU a little more.

what is the range on intimidate and warcyr?

0-5m is melee range,...the servers don't report the location of creatures correctly on a regular basis, if they get knocked down or die they slide to where the belong,...the only way I've found to "stick" to a creature is to /follow them. Of course by doing this I have to create extra lines to make a CoB macro that tells me to stop following before I try to use it or it will never stick


With as long as this game's been out I really thought they would have gotten this fixed by now. That's one reason why ranged is favored,...as long as you are within the much larger weapon range you never worry about -to far-. Melee characters worry about it all the time.
