I'm TKM / M. Swords and I take the same damage while fighting with fists or my Hammer. With CoB active, lvl 80 hits me for 55, lvl 82 hits me for 68. Plus, with TKM, I'm dodging all the time, so they miss me a lot. I still love seeing -MISS- -MISS- -MISS- over and over again above my head. 
Note: If I'm holding a pistol, it changes drasticallybecause I cannot use CoB while holding a ranged weapon and my reaction time is reduced due to the rangedweapon. So not only do I get hit more often, but I also get hit harder, as much as 233 I believe. Getting hit roughly 4 times as hard sucks...
