How to beat higher level tuskens:

  1. get buffed

  2. get good armor

  3. try to attack when they have their rifles out...less melee defense for them, so you hit them 2-3x as hard.

  4. if melee v melee, put on that armor and equip your VKs...if possible have a medic w/ you.

  5. if solo, hope that a stun/blind/intimidate works.

This is where the Armor / No Armor issue comes into play. TKA's that wear armor in Fort Tusken have a higher survivability rate. I fought along side another TKA in Fort Tusken for a few hours. I wore armor, he didn't. I had miserable HAM regen, but he died several times more than me.

Then there is wookie TKs and they just suffer in this department. Ya would think there would be some sort of benifit of giving up 52% composite with krayt scale enchanment. Well there is we get a bowcaster that a laser riffle beats hands down, we can tame gurals at 2/2/0/0 and use them, while others have to spend a woping 3 more points for 3/2/0/0, we get about 250 more stats to play with, and if you are an imp then AT-STs cost you 30k faction points.

Wookie Tks are: (difficulty: extra hard mode)

I am wearing 50% composite and my armor only seems to work on a warlord's specials about a third of the time if that. I will try the status effects out though.

Agreed, I'm still working on trying to get TKA (have been for a while [Flamethrower is too adicitive also]) but all the places where my friends grinded have eiter been nerfed in some way or require armour to stay alive. Best i can do is fight low level mobs or go to fort tusken (or anyother place like it)and hope whatever i'm fighting doesn't change its attack to me from someone else.

But only one, maybe 2 of the UH2's will get the damage bonus. Remember the KD only lasts 5 seconds now.

i love when they use specials give you 400 willpower wounds and give you a mind bleed all in one hit happened to me once when soloing them. had to sit in a camp for bout 30 minuteswhile meditating to heal my bleed and ramdonly becoming incapped from the bleeds cause my mind wasnt recharging cause of the regen attribute being so low. i luckily didnt get slain LUCKY ME

At least this happened to someone other than me. In my case, my health was bleeding. I hit camp and meditated while a doctor kept my health up. After about 20 minutes, I didn't feel like waiting any longer. Besides, it wasn't fair to make the doc use up all his med kits on me. So... ...I asked one of the members of the group I was with to kill me.

Pop! Back at the clone center.

5 minutes later, back at the fort.

About 5 minutes after that... ...I got hit with another neverending bleed! Geeeez!

Truisms are true, hold on to that! The solid world exists, its laws do not change. Stones are hard, water is wet, objects unsupported fall towards the earth's centre. With the feeling that he was speaking to O'Brien, and also that he was setting forth an important axiom, he wrote: Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

If you have a medic around - then first aid is your friend. It dosn't look like the first aid does anything from my end unless i look at the floatie numbers... but it DOES dec. the bleeding every application. Being Master Doc... i don't worry too much about health bleeds... but those mind bleeds suck. Thankfully - the first aid works on them too and TK meditate heals the mind wounds.

As for melee'ing high level tuskens... if i REALLY want to get medevil on them solo, I doc buff myself, then powerboost, pop a muon gold, ramp up the full composite armour, whip out the VK, and proceed to lay a whoopin they never saw comming. Ya - the powerboost will go and the muon will go after 10 min... but they usually don't last even half that amount of time.

Yepp, the knockdown is the way to go. Try getting that KD in as your first hit, if you're lucky he didn't have time to unequip his rifle, and then KD + rifle = a seriously hurt tuskan.

Also on the bigger ones, you can use dizzy as mentioned to keep them down, but also warcry. Do this on a knockdowned tusken and he cant get up for another 10 seconds. The drawback on warcry is high HAM but you generally do need to get something to stick cause when he gets back up he aint gonna be happy...
