Heres the thing. When I PVP I usually pop a Thakatillo (or whatever) that has something like a +90 to defense vs. knockdown, regardless of what profession I currently have mastered.

I agree with you though. Being that I am a Steel Hand Master, and have completely mastered the idea of balance, I don't think being knocked-down should happen all that much, but on the other hand you have to think about the ripple effect of changing TK that much.

Just like rifles use a spraystick/pistol, fencers use a baton, pikers use lances, swordsmen use hammers....blah blah

blah blah is right.....these guys complain too....that their best weapons have little to do with their profession.

i am a master tka...so i like being unarmed. when i need something in my hand, i pick up a geo blaster or *sigh* stun baton.

You'd be surprised to learn how ineffective cure dizzy state is when you're lying on your back.... and even when you are spamming a stand/cure macro.

This might come as a shock to you but- there are other professions that have no defenses what so ever. Namely the Hybrid classes (Bounty Hunter, Commando, Smuggler, Squad Leader).

This game is horrible unbalanced and I am sure everyone knows that.

This is no shock to me. I do howeverfind it hard to believe that we as TKMs can solo anything on this game with no problem, but when it comes to fighting another person, let's face it it's a joke.

Introduction, I've been a TK for 6 months, and am picking it back up for my 3rd time after a try with fencer.

I challenge you to show me a picture of you defeating Mokk Rockshaper, you can find them on Dantooine, at the POI near the imperial outpost. Please PM me a screen shot, including combat log of you defeating this inclusive "anything" in the game with no problem.

There's other things you won't be taking a screenshot of out there either that you won't touch.

I do not agree, we canNOT solo anythink in the game,,,,

Unless you are talking about being fully buffed and/or wearing armor, then in that case so can nearly all the other professions, if you are talking about being fully buffed and armored then state it, so the dev's don't read and take it the wrong way and end up nerv'ing us..which is somethink they seem to enjoy doing to nearly all the professions...

yourshepherd,

That's weird. I've never had any trouble curing dizzy using a macro. It's usually gone and I'm standing before they get off more than 2-4 hits.

I fight docs all the time and they have no problem with removing the dizzy state.

As others have mentioned, dizzy does NOT keep you on your back despite how most people think of it. It makes you fall when you change posture. That means if you're dizzy and standing, you will fall when going prone or kneeling, if kneeling you fall when going prone or standing, etc.

So, if you're on your back and try to stand while dizzy you will most likely fall. BUT you will stand up. For that brief moment you can heal yourself, including a dizzy heal.

It can take practice but once you figure it out you can do it flawlessly. Or at least the docs I fight can.
