Thread: A Great but Dangerous Way to Get XP and Big Money Alone 0n DATHOMIR!
Yeah, I would recommand Kamurir Defilers also.
They pays about 22k per mission and they do not poison but use disease.
Since you are TKA/CH/Medic pretty much like myself.
Here is what I do:
Send pets in, pull one out like you did with others. Then once the pet is near you again, tell it to hit, thenback up and stayat 5m so the mob won't aggro you. I just spam intimidate, blind, stun over and over til all hits, then KD1 or 2 and Unarmed Hit 2 like crazy. Since disease will wound your pet but the wound is so small it's barely noticeable (3 wound per30 sec I think)and you can finish both mission and go back in town and restore your pet to get rid of disease. Pretty much have good doc makes you wound pack so you can cure your pet's wound. pretty much all disease take is the health wound so just with health wound pack is enough. With good health wound pack, 2 shots should be able to completely cure your pet. Just in case if you get diseased....meditate it away.
Disease will stay forever I believe but TKA would be no probably with meditate.
I like this better than fight mobs that poison that I have to constantly healing them rather wait til finish all missions then cure their wounds.
22k per mission will make you a millionaire in no time....![]()
These new lizards the original poster mentioned are great, no armor and i was geting 5k xp from them. The best part is rarley do more then 2 spawn at a time from the layer
Therefore /powerboost put armor on and take VK's off and you can own them solo!! no pets required, just rest up between fights and be patient. I got the last two boxes in balance and meditaion in two nights and now i have 600k credits.
They do disease and poison but who cares we can meditate. lol
Such anger in the world. In the forums I think it is very easy to see who is likely to be Imperial/Dark jedi ![]()
Petulant children should be ignored, we have much better things to move onto.

Your right dude..I got a little emotional...just dont like people with Diarrea of the mouth ya know.
Sorry
Looks likeI am going to need to buff my CH skills to be able to get decent XP....kinda depressing...but ok.
i personally hate dathomir. i found that every time i took missions there they were on the side of a sheer cliff. i hate hate HATE (cue kefka music) fighting on a cliff. might not be so bad for some of you who literally crawl up it, but for me i take 1 step and i'm suddenly 12m away.
for that reason i much prefer doing huurton stalker missions on dantooine. sure they deathblow, but so do these guys on dath. someone made a comment about /examining the creature beforehand...not everyone has a 'creature knowledge' buff ya know ![]()
anyway, it comes down to your preference of planet. if you don't like fighting in a dark, dank, musty ravine on the edge of a cliff 80% of the time, and prefer a well lit, flat environment, then dantooine is for you my friend ![]()
on a side note, xeo, you need to learn to take some criticism and stop being so offensive to everyone that criticises you. you have to realize that making a post on a public forum is going to get you some criticism, maybe not every time, but most of the time. if you can't take such criticism, then you shouldn't be making threads in a public forum, end of story.
Yeah, dethomir can be tricky with all the mountains but once you figure out which direction is better with flat ground, you are pretty much set and rarely need to fight on the cliff. I found south from the outpost in the middle of the dethomir to be more of flat ground......I usually circle around the lair until I find a good flat spot before I start taking it out.
As for the person above, you really dont' need much of the CH skill. Like I said before, a rock beetle should do just as good if you have the right stimp and wound pack. You do need the CH who sold you the pet to teach it trick 1 at least so it can heals it's own mind damage and wound. Besides that, just pull one at a time and tank with rock beetle since your intimidate will pretty much drop mob's damage to nothing. Make sure to heal your pet while it's HAM got low since the mob is aggro on the pet but not you, you have all the time in the world.
I use stimp C that can heal anywhere between 250 to 800 so couple pop of these would take care my pet's damage for me. The stat of the stimp is 39/309. I have seem stimp B that has better stats then this (39/500+) but they are expensive. Since you are making 22k per mission. This is like pocket change.
The key is to have patience. Don't hush in attacking thinking your pet will die so fast before you get to attack the mob. Let the pet take a few full damage from the mob while you position yourself at 5m range and then use intimidate.Once intimidate hits, the pet shouldn't taking much of any damage at all. Use it again if you can't take out the mob before it wears out. Also, make sure you don't accidentally select the wrong mob to attack and aggro another one. This got me into a few trouble sometimes.
This is a good tip, no matter what its origins are. No need to flame a good idea, is there?
Now, there seems to be some debate over whether the Dathomire or Dantoine methods are better. I see them as relatively equal and, as someone else stated, a matter of preference for what, where and how you wish to fight. Both give equal (or very similar) xp and are of very similar difficulty. Cash is a big difference, however. If you need credits, go to Dathomir. Wonder if the devs realized this when they added 4-5 different types of missions that paw 20k+ each.
On a side note, Dantoine is much easier to get to for our Overt Imperials, as they can simply declare on Dantoine at the base.
On yet another note, I agree with my colleague who said that the ch aspect is fun as well. I am Master ch and just started TKA recently, and see my pets as equalizers to things like kiting and eyeshots. they can kite me, but not my Gurreck. maybe if they didn't run, I wouldn't use him. However, as a former pistoleer, I can tell you that ranged have no choice but to run. standing toe to toe with us is silly. thier strategy MUST be to run, or lose. Our strategy MUST be one that overcomes kiting. It isn't supposed to be easy. I use a gurreck. some people hate me for that. Oh well. I'd use the gurreck if I were still pistoleer too. then a separate group of people would hate me! lol

Roger that....point taken....Its just that what she or he said was not criticisim it was a ball faced lie and an accusation just recklessly thrown out there like I was plagiarizing or something.....a firm found criticism is OK..thats fine but dont just say that I am copying somebody elses work..thats not criticism its just attacking without provocation..but I get your point....what your said WAS criticism and I understand.
