I've fought a couple of Knights and have won both, I didn't use only TKM as I used all three of my proffessions so not sure if a solid TKM would do the trick. Both duels were close as the Knights can deal heavy damage quickly. But I don't care who you are or what proffession you are. 8k/7.5k/6k HAM is hard to cut through.....I love being a wookiee.

And before you cry exploit as many people I have dueled have. It can be done with the right set of Janta Buffs, food, and spices.

You lucky ass, once they nerf armor, wookie is gonna be FOTM. GRRR. I'm not hating though, as long as you don't become a Jedi. Sadly though, most good pvp'ers will go that way. It is our duty to make those guys bend over like choir boys.

I fought a Dark Jedi Knight this morning. As many mentioned, they are very effective at getting states to stick. I was dizzy, KD'd, stunned, blind and bleedingat one point. I didn't get an intimidate to stick but one of the mistakes I made was not paying close enough attention to getting states on him. A random roll stuck a blind on him so I think they are somewhat vulnerable to state attacks. I was able to KD him but not dizzy.

I lost the fight by the way.

Were you using synthsteak? How much was he hitting you for?

I was. He was hitting for about 50 it seemed when it was in affect and it went to about 200 or so after it wore off. The fight lasted over 2 minutes. I was pretty stoked about the fight even though I lost and did a write up on the smuggler boards.

EDIT: Actually, I just logged in very quickly to get some screenshots. At one point, he was hitting me for about 400. No wonder I still have a headache...

vs. Dark Jedi Knight

I'll post the links to pics of my combat log in just a few...

Interesting read. Were you able to land intimidates and warcries?

Sadly, you can tell from my log that I PvP a lot more with pistoleer than with TK. Still no excuse...

Cool, thanks for the screenies. Sorry for the all the questions but. The last move he was spamming, wrath of kun, what saber was that? And were you mind or health/action incapped?

It was kind of hard to tell. When I prepped, I took a pixie so I'm not sure exactly when the downer hit. I noticed that the very next line in my log after he killed me was that the the pixie downer had left my system.

I don't know what Wrath of Kun was (I assume something to do with Exar Kun) but it was murderous. I think that may have even been a double-bladed saber move. I think by that point in the fight, he had pulled out his polearm. If SWG follows games like Jedi Academy, the single blade is faster but the polearm is more powerful. It sure felt that way.

EDIT:

I just noticed something else in the log. I think the Wrath of Kun is like unarmed combo. He hits me twice for 2 different amounts of damage in the same second. I'm assuming that is hitting with both blades. So he was able to dish out close to 800 pts of pvp damage in one swing. Kind of scary.

ahhh being a wookie is the **edit**, besides the **edit** armor that is. Ok, here goes...

I was walking in coronet the other day, and I was grouped with a couple of jedi, they were all padawans, and someone attacked one of them. Being tefed I noticed that there was another Imperial jedi off to the side that no one was attacking, and he wasn't attacking anybody either. When I read his tag I figured out why.... (Jedi Master) sooooooooo.... I popped as much food as i could, brandy, canape, pixie, some dodge food, and went after him. I intimidated, kd'd, dizzied, stunned, blinded, and then spammed headhit. When a jedi is down and dizzied hecan't clear any states. I had his mind down to about 200 when he got back up. He started hitting my health, which was lucky for me cause it was above 5k, and then he called in reinforcements and a frickin rifleman took me out, but not before I kd'd again, I just didn't get the chance to get some more headhits in. So the key to jedi, intimidate/kd/dizzy/stun then headhit, use warcry if you're in a group, because it's worthless if you're in a one on one fight, both of you don't hit for 10, 20 seconds whatever one you have. I've only fought friendly jedi after that, honing my skills, they tell me what works, what doesn't. But always, always, intimidate/kd/dizzy/stun/headhit.

Cool thanks. I'm pretty sure the one handed sabers are the ones that can do head hits. Somebody will have to confirm this. So you were probably H/A incapped, especially since you were on a pixie downer. Ouch. I hate downers. Maybe thats why I hardly use my muon hehe. Warcry useless one on one? haha

Jedi can heal all states and all damage while KD'd, you will not be able to do enough damage solo to one before he either kills you or decides you're not worth the effort and runs off. In most group PVP the TKM is best used to try and immobilize the Jedi with a combo of KD, Lunge, and Dizzy while the rest of your team gather 'round and commence the beatings.

Jedi are whimps without buffs and eaisly beatable. With buffs they are unstopabale in 1 on 1 pvp. Anything above a padawan will eaisly beat you. its all about the buffs.... But since when did you see a jedi without them?
