As a TKM I rarely use VKs when hunting, only against armored targets, or when I go the CoB/standard attack route. Usually I use Stun/Blind/Intimidate, KD2 and UA2, with the odd War Cry, as well as the pool specific hits to finish off a target. I only use UA3 when speed is of the essence. In PvP I pop a BoH and use VKs. I don't use armor other than a Personal Shield generator, which means I have no encumbrance to worry about, so my HAM costs are usually very low even without buffs.

max damage vk's + berserk against big hp lairs, worksagainst armored high resist mobs as well. I can buff myself now so I use vk's all the time tho.

Many hate vk's but it gives advantage on some situations so I'd use it.

I would try to get away with using nothing but PSG's if it wasn't for the fact that they are......

1. Rare and hard to find.

2. Super Expensive.

3, Prone to degenerate and decay to darn quickly.

It would be nice if that was the case though, sometimes armor can be....

1. Ugly as hell or...

2. Cause you to look like everyone else! LOL.

And about the earlier post by Jonab, you make a good point that in the long run getting buffs when you set out can save you time, it's just that sometimes if there is no doc on the planet you are on, and you go planet hopping to find one, then, you end up waiting the full nine or ten minutes for each shuttle it just sometimes seems that you've ended up spending most of your short-alloted playtime chasing down buffs.

But I do agree that having the buffs is definitely prefarable than not having them.
