Actually, what that was was Taekwando. It was however indeed American style. I competed in a N.A.S.K.A. tourney past saturday and there was a special ring for what he was doing, which is by the way called "tricking". It's like a hobby type of thing, even though some people practice it religiously.

Jon Boyd is the **edit** with his blade. Do you know himor just have competed with him? No one handels a katana better. John Su is also very good with his sword, you just don't see him use it very often, he likes his kama and steel whip better. How many people here do martial arts and compete on the NASKA circuit? If you do, what style and where from? I did from age 14 - 20. My instuctor is on Paul Mitchell.We are from Chicago.

I study Iai-do but do not compete. From Sherman Oaks, CA
