The basic thought in tieing this in with the CURB is since TK already has its own form of special mitigation (Unarmed toughness), a robe with some attribute mods could rival a suit of class 1 or 2 armor. I don't want composite quality effectiveness or base stats, but something distinguishing would be awesome.

Of all the professions Teras Kasi is less generic in nature outside of MBH and Smuggler. I don't want this idea to even be looked at before the CURB. I think it would be nice that this idea (which is a good one) get some acknowledgement. Thats all.......................

I don't want the "Gawd robes". I've seen enough people in mando armor and 90% base RIS to last me a lifetime.

The big problems with this at the moment is that you do not know what is happening in the CU, only a few of us that read here do so & until more people know what is happening it's very unfair to have to ask them about their feelings on robes.

Even after the CU I don't belive that robes would be the right way to go for the bonuses, I strongly believe the sash would be better, at the moment one of the worst sights in SWG are the composite clones & all the Jedi in their robes, all looking the same, it looks boring, & I know many people prefer to look individual, I'm not againest robes, just I don't think the robe should be what gives the bonus, the fact is most people will always want the bonus, but to make them have to wear the same outfit as every other TK that wants it as well would end up been very boring. At least with a sash however we only have to give up a belt slot for the bonuses, so no PSG, or skill tape belt etc.

I will come back to this after the CU,but to request anything untill people know what the CU is bringing would be unfair on them.

I wasnt saying 'no' to profession specific content, I was saying 'no' to the fact that in the EU, teras kasi arent monks. It seems that when most people in this game think of teras kasi, they picture shaolin monks meditating in a temple, and theres just no EU basis for it. From what little we see of TKA in the EU, it is more like systema or krav maga(sp). Simply, a well made fighting style, designed to beat the crap out of someone. There is some sort of ranking/heiarchy, as seen with Phow Ji being a Follower of Palawa, but nothing suggests a monk like situation.

Careful there... you'll end up with 'robes that will offer protection equal to that of high end composite'

Exactly why I wount even touch the subject. DEVs screwed Jedi over enough. I don't want that.

Yeah. If they get that high. You people have a warped sence that every Jedi can deal out massive damage, run as fast as a swoop and heal everything in one button. They can't. And I was mostly addressing stuff below knight. My point is simply this:

Do you want something like a Jedi robe for TKM without that kind of healing capability?
I don't.

Well, I'd go for fireproof, biological agent protection suit /gas mask and call it a TKA robe

But as I dont see that happening, I think I'll just wait for the Combat Fixy-Thingy and then lobby for TKA content. I don't want to be a mini-jedi.
