I don't think it's fair that newb's like yourself can just go buy a Jedi on EBay and think you should have an I WIN button. Just cause you suck at PvP doesn't mean we're out of balance.

i have to agree we shouldnt rip throughpeople like tissues. if you look at all combat boards and jedi boards everyone finds something that is in their eyes unfair about another class. imho i wouldnt mind saberblock being lowered if we had some sort of defense against anything. at this time if i get shot by a rifle or pistol or hit with a good set of vk's im toast lol... because i have no mitigation. well thats not exactly true cause im still a TKM but ive played a friends jedi that is only jedi skills and he gets shredded. although that may also have to do with the fact that they know how to pvp. anywho i was just wanting to make sure that you all know that not all jedi want to rip through people.

The fact that Jedi can't block melee attacks very wellwasn't necessarily intended by the devs imo. That doesn't mean we were meant to hunt jedi.

this stroke me as interesting that you are arguing about tk being jedi killers is just EU when there was no mention of teras kasi in the movies and it is all EU..

i think jedi vs. tkm is fine how it is. as it stands, a tk will put up one hell of a fight against a fully templated knight, and its pretty much a coin toss as to who will win (if both are experienced in PvP). i've dueled and PvP'd loads of jedi, and have lost and won plenty. i've dueled with guys for nearly 30mins before i just ran out of stims and couldn't heal anymore. the bottom line is, jedi is the only prof with a dmg type unmitigated by armor or clothes (aside from melee def, which doesn't do all that much). they are the only prof that can heal themselves while dizzy/kd/anyotherstate. the only prof that can heal dizzy while kd (Aside from doc's with a dizzy/stand macro). the only melee prof with a ranged kd, and the only prof with an attack that does nearly ever state in the game with one hit (dervish). jedi have every resource imaginable to win every fight, but my opinion is that they are just uneducated in how to effectivley deal with TK's.

I think i read somewhere (probably EU) that TKM were 'ancient enemies' of the jedi and they used to try to assassinate jedi in groups of 2 or 3...

I'm not necessarily saying this should be implemented into SWG, but maybe they could do something similar...

TBH, and I am an EU whoore, I have NEVER heard of the TK being a counter to Jedi ANYWHERE but on this board by people who are not DEV's or in any real position of authority.

Cant belive all the complains there is about TKM being to powerfull against jedi. People should just learn to PvP to quit complaining. I am Currently a TKM/Mbrawler and have defences from the rest of the meele professions.Yes I can beat up knights and its one hell of a fight since its hard for them to land states on me. You should learn to play your profession more then complain. I built this template to take out the arrogant jedi that think they own the game. I dont hunt jedi they hunt me and bite more than they can chew.If jedi were smart enough they should run from a TKM like they always do. I dont think that we are here to kill jedi but to keep them in line when they are being asshats. I would like it if you see a JK/DJK (or higher rank) showing off and have TKM you have the ability to get a tef and start pounding them just like teh good old days.

Thanks for stepping up and reminding us that not all jedi are complete idiots, it sometimes get forgotten among the sea of whiners that there area few that are reasonable.
