well i suggested this some time back and at the time it seemed like a good idea but...

first of all ranged people could just pick up the melee proffession still have some medic unless they are bhs, so it wouldnt change much.

Melees run and hit just aswell as ranged users, of course if you do not have afast enough connection or the ping is bad they will be out of your range when you run and hit, but thats not rreally a problem. Im european wich means my ping isnt all good but i can run and hit fine with the faster weapons.

Im a swordsman and as it is i can duel ranged users and win most of the time, yes if i duel a rifle man who is 64 m away i will lose but that is the way it should be, if i duel a rifleman who is 1m away ill win should he cry on his fora about this?. If they make us faster than ranged people i will win every fight i get into with someone ranged unless they 1 hit me because i sure make them hurt with my powerhammer.

We are melees wich means we are good at short ranges, and that is the way it should be.

However, pve is another story as ranged users can take on large mobs and jedis, i know that you could beat a jedi by spamming kd but ive never had kd so ive never really stood a chance against anything that could 1 hit me. running faster wont really help me there though. The /tank option they are adding might. What we need is better defencive skills so we dont get hit as often.

They should make all classes equal as it would ruin the realismand the fun of the game, if you are one of the people who wants to be über then why dont you pick up a class that is über (wich tka actually is)

riflemen are evil, but well they should be.

commandos use heavy weapons, of course they hit hard, but they dont really hit _that_ hard you just need to take them out before their specials takes away your health

but i dont think ive ever beaten a tka master.

For me, the best solution, /stick.
