So another item that could have went to crafters is a loot item instead?
Interesting. Sad, but interesting.
So does this mean my blaster knucklers and old VK's actually work now with the latest patch?

The drawback with damage slices is that it adds a rather minimal amount of max damage. Say if you have a weapon with 300-800 damage - a 8% slice will make this 324-824 damage. Of course a speed slice might have a similar issue, I'm not sure how it works (i.e does it modify the "adjusted" speed or base speed for example). In either case, I overall like speed > damage when it comes to powerups. For example it lets me get perhaps 1-2 extra hits in on a knocked down target.
Speed slice + SAC powerup might be an excellent balance between longevity / DPS.

Melee weapons no longer stack damage - they replace it, and are therefore utterly useless (except for some loot).

I believe that knucklers still do not add to unarmed damage, but replace it...but I'd be happy if some one told me otherwise (and it were true).

I did 3% critical, 2% speed and 8% damage. Base DPS is 356 point somthing.
