i dont see what u guys are talking about seriously...IT A DIFFERENT PROFESSION im in no way forcing you to choose this profession this would be a profession for people who want to roleplay. You dont even have to dabble into this profession at all since you dont like it. Tired of having to find a pathetic bh to kill jedi as well as tired of pvping with no cause what so ever and tired of pveing as well. Once WoW comes out i will quit this game but till then id like to have some fun.

If jedi were out of line teras kai would obviously hunt them, otherwise how the hell would they put them in check/?

awsome idea, your right about how it wouldnt unbalance gameplay. it would jst give us an edge fighting jedi. although a slight correction, jedis are forced to be overt now(or implemented in publish 10) so the thing about only hunting overt jedi wouldn't really cut it. otherwise sounds good, and u wouldnt really be hunting them. maybe they could implement a system where as a jedi kills a certain number of non jedi and they are able to be "controlled" by a tk watcher.

why do you need to be a TKA Watcher. REgular TKM can take down jedi right now.

Not to say anyone else here is wrong but....

Teras Kasi was an art founded to keep Jedi in check yes and to combat them. But, most Jedi soon adopted these skills. In the age of the Empire, no one but a few scattered few practice the ancient Teras Kasi art. Any Jedi still alive still practice this art, as it was incredibly useful. Jedi used to use the stances and styles of Teras Kasi to enhance their swordplay, and overall it worked very well. Along with the Jedi, the Sith practiced Teras Kasi as a way to counter the Jedi's Teras Kasi abilities. It was in no way shape or form strictly to fight Jedi, or an unarmed combat style for that matter. I am not a Teras Kasi yet ingame, just a Student, but I enjoy the unarmed combat. But there should be no way a Teras Kasi Artist should have the same tracking abilities of a BH. Sure, it would be cool, I agree there, but it shouldn't be there. It doesn't exist anyway. And if any of you come up and say "Well there were no Swordsmen or Fencers or Pikemen or any other melee dude in the movies or books other then Jedi, and if they exist ingame, so should this," well, all soldiers are proficient with melee weapons. Some soldiers specialize in it. All Storm Troopers are made to carry a Vibroblade, some even carry Vibroswords. And there were plenty of Pikemen. The Imperial Royal Guards all used Force Pikes, and pikes were used as weapons in a lot of culture, specifically the Force Pikes. Ok, I'm done

Let me tell a lil story that happened a while back before i dropped my tkm. I went to kaadra and saw a rebel npc being beat down by imperial troops, i decided to join in and so i killed off all the imp troopers. Then as i was buying a ticket for starport i get knocked upside the head by a Jedi Knight who dizzy+kd me+bleed then whooped the crap out of me. This cowardly attack let to me killing a few imps in retaliation of my lost self respect.LOL well no self respect lost actually, but i was mad that this jedi could kill me with a tef since he is always overt, and there is no way i could tell he was in area. Hes overt and i cant attack him i was not overt but had a tef and he could attack me.....kinda sucks anyone agree???

The only non-fanfiction reference anywhere that TK has anything to do with Jedi was from the Official Star Wars Encyclopedia. That info is highly disputed, especially since it seems the author pulled it out of thin air.

That doesn't mean TK couldn't have anything to do with Jedi, but those who say authoritatively that TKAs are official Jedi-Watchers or Jedi-Hunters or anything of the sort simply don't know what they're talking about.
