I have 3 VKs, all bought for 20k credits are less. All are in the 160-180 max damage range. One I bought off a Jedi's vendor so I could kill him with it later. 
Are you sure that all Lok NPC's drop the +20 motors? I don't like hunting Nyms that much because eventually I have to go back to his starport to get off the planet. I've been running a Nym mission and a Blood Razor mission back-to-back to balance the faction points out.

damage to npc not really but in pvp yes it makes a huge difference...take on a jedi ur vk stats need to be at least 230 or above to take a padawan...knight 240 or above enforcers need 250 or above guardians need 265 or above and so on and so on
npc wise not really...pvp wise...most definately

npc wise not really...pvp wise...most definately
Oh please, I take out paddies with my 184 vk's with no problem. I fight knights with my 223 vk's and am fairly successful. To get a vk muchhigher than that it is either looted or crafted with a nightsister vibromotor and they are extremely rare.

High-powered motors dropped by Nym's start at 20max damage.
The other Nyms motors(wounding and integrity)are value-less to weaponsmith, with the possible
exception of speed tuned motor.
The motors are then crafted into vibro blade units, which are then
crafted into VK's.
After all that, then its off to the smuggler where you hope for a nice
30-35% damage slice(about 1 in 8 is my experience).
Most weaponsmiths can craft a 140-145 damage VK with no enhancement,
add the 20 damage from the motor and you get 160-165.
add in the good slice and your VK now delivers 210-225 max damage.
Higher damage motors will add to the damage of the VK.
And as previously stated, the NS motors are even better than the Nym motors
because of the addition of minimum damage, but are much more difficult to loot.

You need to kill the NS Queen in the cave outside of the stronghold after a server reset, since she only spawns once every day.
When you attack her, she will spawn 10 Protectors to attack you. Try to run out and get on your swoop when they aggro you, so you can get them all spread throughout the cave and take them down one or two at a time.
You will want Swordsmen and Riflemen (and a Jedi or two if thats an option for you)to be with you. As TKM, you cannot damage her. She has the same resistances as an Elder. However, you do make a good tank as a TKM, good enough to get by with only one or two helpers if you hold the aggro on her.
If you're lucky, she will drop motors for you.

Does this still apply now that the servers don't reset everyday ? Also what are the protectors like to kill? Killable by me?
Would I stand a chance of killing NS Queen with Master Marksman/Novice Bounty Hunter Skills? I was going to get teh Pistol Defence line too... Would that help ?

Were those made? Or is it a clever photo-shop/Graphic changing Mod?
Seems impossible to me - if it is possible, what do you need to make them?

They were not made (no creator name) so they are either fake or a freaking awesome looted weapon.

So how can I loot these NS motors? As a Teras Kasi Master with no stacking I find them tough to kill, I have BH 3xxx too so I can use some different damage types - but not very efficiently.
If I want to put a group together to seek these who do I want in the group? And how many NS are we likely to have to kill? Are there particular ones to avoid, or seek when deciding which to fight? (I mean from a likelyhood of good loot point of view.)

Or could they be something else? A mod that changes gracphics and text? Like those folks who make compsite look like mando, sword look like lightsabre etc?

My VK was made with +23 nym motors, stats are 50-229 unpuped.
