I find that it's the Non-TKM's that have such an issue with wound healing being moved.

I don't have anything against dabbling, I just have an issue with this certain Skill.

As far as me being a power gamer - I killed my wookie off who WAS A TKM; I had to relearn TKM quickly and did it with my human. While being a wookie, it took me many weeks of off and on playing to get that title.

Seeing as how you can get the ability to heal all health and action type wounds for yourself AND others AND use stim Bs for only 15 skill points and 100 credits, I don't see this as a big deal.

healing our wounds with meditation is cool, but by no means does this give us anything close to the full value of medic/doc skills. simply having novice medic and some good stim b's will give you tremendous battle advantages that meditation alone cannot give you. dropping a heal on oneself or others in combat is arguably much, much more valuable than being able to go meditate your wounds away after the fighting is over. i understand that its a nice perk, and that it makes those who dont have it a little jealous, but it is by no means damaging the medical professions.

and it takes more than 14pts to get the ability. if you just went for that it would require 49pts. or you could just pick up novice medic for 15pts and do it yourself anyway, with the ability to stim yourself in combat.

I also think that wound healing meditate should be moved to master, and heres why:

Meditate is an extremely powerfull skill, as well as powerboost, and forceofwill, and you hardly spend any skill points on a skill that provide a HUGE advantage. Its so nice to come out of the clone center, and give myself a nice quick wound heal, then boost all my stats up by 500. This IS NOT something that a 4000 in any profession should be able to do.

The devs complain about dabbling as it is, this is probably one of the most "dabbled" trees, as its too apealing to resist, and the skill points required are less then firstaid 4 for medic (Before you yell, Ya right idiot, gotta count the 15 for novice medic, and what the 6 it takes for novice tk?)

I know its alot of work to get level 4 using just novice TK skills as you do not advance skillfully as you level up, but its still worth it, and you could do it in a night if you really wanted to. Anyways.

Overall, Meditate is too powerfull of a skill to be obtained with that few of skill points and work, and should be a huge reward for getting TKM, which it would be if it was moved to master.

I propose the following:

-Meditate remain a tree in TK, have level 1 speed up bleed cures, level 2 cure poison, powerboost at level 3, and disease curing and force of will at level 4. Its still a usefull tree, it just becomes ALOT more usefull at master with wound healing.

Keep it the same. Just add the ability to fly at TKM.

Its not that big a deal, and its not just 14 SP. Its more like 49 SP and alot of UAXPto get the healing abilities of a novice medic.

This suggestion makes no sense.
