i use really low HAM vk with dmg slice. With these my HAM don't hurt too much and i can still do decent damage. The speed stats on vks also don't seem to matter when a tkm is using them b/c of our unarmed speed modifiers.

I am 2,2,4,3 and I always use VK's. With the new Vasarian Brandy I get +700 to all mind stats and then with Muon I get another +500 to all mind stats. SoWITHOUT musician buffs, I alreay have +1200 to all three of my mind stats (almost constantly).
I haven't even started using any Mind Food yet, I am sure there is some out there. I can constantly spam specials and my mind bar is always blue, all the way to the top.

I'm a TKM/Doc.
I use my VK's 99% of the time in PvP, 1% of the time in PvE.
In PvP, withmy ownbuffs +Brandy + Canapes + Mind Power ups, the cost of using them is almost nil and the benefit of having AP1 is a no brainer. If I pop a Muon then they cost nothing at all, as my stats dont even register the HAM cost. And, inalot of cases I am alsoentertainer buffed, soI can swing all day and never worry about HAM costs.
TheVK's I currentlyuseare 35% dmg sliced, making them 44-194 base dmg. With a 32% Mind / 16% Max Dmg, they are invaluable -vs- comp armor and kinetic ubese.

I'm only 2-1-4-4, but I always use VKs. I'm also a Master Doc, so I'm always buffed. My mind stats are at 1100/1100/800, and I rarely wear armor now, so I notice almost no HAM cost from using my specials--maybe 11 mind or so. I also powerboost and have muon and rhyshcate (the old kind) at the ready.

Ok all, thanks for the input... i just mastered TK and now realize why it doesnt make a difference. I kill things so fast that even though VK's seems to kill them 30% faster 30% of 9 seconds aint much... So after reading all your thoughful input i see that for the most part it makes no difference and is personal preference.. (i think they look cool) with the exception of PVP which should require them at all times.. Thanks again pepes.

Still won't use them. It's not worth it if I decide to use specials. If I need it I'll use it just for speed if I can't feign death.
