If you are flat on your back unable to do anything for the duration of a fight, even 80% comp wont save you. Even if the comp drops the nexu spam damage(99% of tka just kd2 then spam nexu) to 40 or 50, attacking once per second will still kill the person before they stand.

/stand, wait for animation to complete, if you get system message that you fall, /stand again, wait untill animation is done. This should not take more than 3-4 tries. If you spam /stand, you will keep falling like a fool. Using defense vs KD food goes a long way, dizzy is meaningless if you dont get KD.

After doing some more testing to a variety of mobs last night, I don't believe that KD2 was touched at all. I think a few high-end Mobs got increased resistances but that's it. KD2 works as well as before on 95% of the targets I regularly attack like: Mokks, Janta, Dantari, Rebels, and Genosians.

All in all it really isnt' that big of a deal, unless you only fight night sisters.

After three hours of hunting on Dath last night, I was asking myself what the hell is wrong with KD2? So I checked the forums and sure enough lots of posts about it. I have no idea what the problem is exactly but it really was almost useless to me against NS, where as before It worked a good deal of the time.

Oh i'm sorry they made it so you have to accually fight the night sisters instead of kd/dizzy them and beat them to death with out taking dmg let me get out my tiny tiny violin and play you a sad tune while you walk into the sunset

Come on! It's awful that we can't even have a decent thread without getting garbage like this. Please leave sarcastic \ flamingpostsin the nerf threads.

Personally I've only noticed a difference in PvP, but if you really are having trouble using your kd don't bother. Hit dizzy and then lunge, the second they try to stand up the dizzy kicks in and then fall on their back. It works like a charm in PvP where everyone pumps themselves full of knockdown resistant food. If you pound someone with a few dizzy attacks and then change their posture you completely avoid the kd resists and they fall down when they try to stand from kneeling. It's really silly to rely completely on knockdown2 when so many other attacks for TKA work just as well or better. Use warcry/knockdown2 or dizzy/lunge for the exact same effect. Sure it'll take you a whole extra attack, but if you're a TKM that extra attack takes less than a second.

This is why I have been LMAO about all the talk how tkm got nerfed and we cant do anything in PVP anymore. I had been using posture change for a while now exactly becuase of what you said. Many fellow TKM have no idea how to play their profession and have a 1 dimensional view of combat UKD2+UH3. Most of these people will leave for the next FOM. People like you will continue to play our profession well.

Even if KD2 isn't applying a dizzy all the time you've still got /unarmeddizzy...if my dizzy from KD2 doesn't stick I just hit it with unarmed dizzy until it does stick. TKM is one of the fastest attacking professions in the game, you can survive the extra 0.6 seconds it takes to throw a dizzy attack at them if only the knockdown part of kd2 works. If the knockdown doesn't work see my above post about to how get around kd defenses. Little known fact, very few templates have good posture change defenses.

Even before the patch I've had alot of problems with it. Not sure if it's due to lag/defenses, or is exploiting. But there are any given number of people who seem entirely capable of ignoring kd/dizzy, and not seemingly using any in-game intended methods to do so. Even watched a guy get up pre-patch from a 20 second warcry after he was knocked down. He sure didn't stay down 20 secs....

Even more so, if anyone ever noticed tka/rifleman have just enough points to dabble into fencer/pistoleer too... there is a guy on my server who is flat out impossible to kd/dizzy. Its just not possible. Not with 100% to kd, and nearly 100% to dizzy.

I totally agree with that statement. Most of the tka's I c I'd swear the only moves they have on they're toolbars are kd2/uh3/unarmedheadhit1
