It really depends, if your mark is 120K or less, he/she'll most likely still have TKM (or some other profession or stacking) and would be better off taking chances with armor on. Also if you find your mark out in the wildnerness (like Rancor valley, NS stronghold) then keep your armor on.
I pulled a 114K mark and I incapped him with eyeshot using a high damage DE-10 then he FOW'd before I can deliver the DB and pulled TKM on me (KD+dizzy+UA3) and gave me a run for my life but I killed him anyways.

wearing armor against a jedi actually hurts u, when fighting them it doesnt protect u so u may say it does nothing but infact it add to ur encumberance thus lowering ur HAM and Regen Rates which is very precious when fighting a jedi. and also there is NO armor that has LS protection unless u use Force Armor (jedi skill) or u use the PSG exploit (which if found i heard is bannable)

Actually last night I ended up in a battle with no buffs and no armor and faired very well against two buffed armored melee stakers. I was with a Jedi knight and the focused on him while I WC+Intim applied states , healed myself ect.
At one point they realzied that an unbuffed player was cause way to much trouble and quickly focused one me.
run away + WC + Intim , then I had to FOW and hit FD.
Once they realized I was Fd they quickly went for the Jedi when I noticed thier armor being unequiped.
Pop outa FD , Head Shot 3 with a DXRb rifle
Basically they would have one had the focused on me

I don't wear armor when fighting solely against Jedi.
The problem is the gank squad that usually accompanies them, they'll eat you alive without armor.

True, I forgot about the electricity.
hmm, not sure about players, but NPC force lightning now go through armor without caring about resists...
