Yup, I did.. and those were made with Nym's Motors that only add 20 Max Damage, I recently went on a looting spree and got 4 of them with +23 Max Damage, and another 4 with +24 Max Damage.
Here's the Vibroblade I posted on the Fencer forums.

LOL, a vibroblade that does 60-222 is nothing compared to a weapon that does 300-450 damage. (I think you forgot that TKMs get at least 250 points of damage extra.) The only fencer weapon that comes close to matching the average TKM with a VK in terms of damage is an acklay stun baton, and those are AP0. So my point stands.
(That is pretty kick-arse for a vibroblade though, I like the idea of someone dealing decent damage with a knife, it's unique.)

Yeah.. sadly when I find myself in a situation where I'm soloing something with medium armor and 30%+ resists to kinetic.. it's straight to the 212 max dmg VK's!

TKA only have minimal head hit capabilities. Compared to others like swordman who can use head hit 3

Actually Maccajnr, thank you. I forgot one thing and you reminded me.
TKAs have the weakest single-pool attacks of any melee profession. Our pool attacks are 2.5x damage, while all other melee professions get between 3x and 4x damage for their best single-pool attacks (Headhit3, Bodyhit3, Leghit3).
Granted, we can target any single pool we want to unlike any other melee profession, but we cannot do a lot of damage to any of them. (Part of the jack-of-all-trades, master of none school of thought.)

i like to look at damage as a function of time. dont just look at the damage mods but at the damage done over time.
anyway when its added all up, i dont see tossing out 2000 points of damage versus 3000 points of damage as a weakness. not actual numbers of course, just an example. still that doesnt answer the question. the title of the thread isnt the real question. a new damage type is win-win. you have to give a lil to get a lil.

unarmedKD2 also sometimes puts a bleed.
Weakness? I would say
- defenses vs states (low)
- damage type (when you tasted pistoleer damage types, you are always looking at annemy weakness)
- area attacks (unarmedspin 1 and 2 : both quite crappy for someone that have tasted the power of polearm weapons ^^)

If your a stacker, and your good all you really have to worry about are dots and gank squads.

Damage mods = damage over time, when any profession in the game can hit the speed cap. Sad fact.

sure they CAN but at base they are not capped. just as any class CAN boost his defenses but at base they may be lacking in some area.
