I think that post CU there will be no DOTs on weapons. Right now DOT VK's with even decent stats are extremly rare and the time it would take you to find a nice one would would most likely exceed the institution of CU. So it probly wouldnt make sense to look for them now.

Nym,Imperial factioned NPC's of all kind,Elders,Krayts have all dropped DOT'd vk's at one point.
